Vidi se da dionica pruge od Pazina do državne granice hitno treba obnovu, nadam se da će ona i krenuti kako je stalno najavljivano pa da će obnoviti i ostatak do Pule ali i ovaj odjeljak do luke Raša da se napokon vrati teretni promet i gospodarski još više ojača taj dio Istre ali i Hrvatske. Sve u svemu odličan video kao i svaki drugi!

@@alo1692 Ušljivcima je prioritet obnovit poatojeću da se poveća turizam, nije ih briga što bi možda studenti, učenici, umirovljenici htjeli vlakom do Rijeke, Zagreba a ne stalno busevima od kojih se oporavljaš 4 dana. Ima ova pruga prometa učenicima al to je samo za Pulu ili Pazin. Valjda ćemo dočekat i taj tunel jednom.

@@sikret4601 Što je najbolje, pruga je odmah s druge strane Učke i u Matuljima, dakle samo bi falio tunel. Nažalost, to će doći kada će ljudi već zaboraviti na vlak, kao što i neke lokalne ceste obnavljaju i proširuju u mjestima gdje ljudi više nema ili ih je jako malo. Odgledao prugu Zagreb-Split i Zagreb-Rijeka i vidio kako vlak staje na mnogo malih stanica na kojima nitko ne čeka vlak. Baš te srce zaboli.

Buongiorno, complimenti ancora una volta. La ferrovia Trieste - Parenzo fu attiva fino al 1936 e si sarebbe potuta congiungere con questa a Kanfanar ma si decise la chiusura. Lo scartamento era 760 mm, la trazione fu sempre a vapore e alcuni rotabili finirono sulla rete siciliana a scartamento ridotto intorno al 1940.

Nice that both of these old narrow-gauges - Trieste-Poreč (Parenzana) and Kanfanar-Rovinj have been converted in accessible and very popular bike routes. This 760mm gauge was typical narrow-gauge in KuK monarchy with biggest network built to this gauge in Bosnia (so sometimes this gauge is reffered as "Bosnian gauge").

@@ZvonimirZelenika Pruga Kanfanar-Rovinj je izgrađena kao pruga normalnog kolosijeka. Jedino je Parenzana uskotračna pruga Istre.

You had traveled the route with the old Fiat DMUs I think or were they old Koncar models! An architectural marvel this railway that runs through Istria! You pass through the bay of Pola to reach Pazin and I notice that the stations have all been well looked after and put in order. Greater neglect after Lupoglav due to the tall grass on the tracks. Is the route to Arsia still passable? The journey is faster with the new Koncars! Let's wait for them to finish the route to Koper so you can travel it in the next few years. I was recently on the road to Koper and the work on the new viaduct is progressing quickly. Let's hope for the best! See you soon!

Beautiful rail travel between Pula and Divaca. Love the sunset scenes (though the driver may disagree about that LOL) I did this route in opposite direction last year though due rail works the first part Divaca-Buzet was by rail replacement minibus! And because it was 01 October the direct Summer season service had already finished anyway. It's a pity the Northern part of the Istrian route is not in good condition. The first Southern part while not being rapid, is at least consistently on the 70km/h while after Kanfanar it drops to 45-50 km/h. Even if the Northern part was at the same average speed of the Southern part it would make a significant improvement on the time for this service. When I was doing this route last year I wondered what would be a nice area to stop off at on the way. Does anyone have recommendations? Pazin? Buzet? Thanks anyway again for doing this video.

CROATIA: Passenger operator HŽ PP’s first Končar KEV Class 7023 diesel multiple-unit entered revenue service on February 15, operating on the route between Zagreb, Varaždin and Kotoriba. The three-car articulated DMU is 58·5 m long. It has 151 fixed and nine folding seats, two wheelchair spaces, space for two bicycles and room for 163 standing passengers at 4/m2. It has low-floor entrances, CCTV, a GPS-based passenger information system, wi-fi and air-conditioning. The driving cars have 390 kW MAN engines, Jenoptik Power Systems generators and Končar traction motors, giving a maximum speed of 120 km/h. AdBlue fuel additive is used. The DMU cost €4·29m plus VAT. HŽ PP ordered 10 of the DMUs in January 2014 as part of a €213m contract for Končar to supply a total of 44 diesel and electric units, but because of financial difficulties it is unclear whether all will now be delivered.

Die Infrastruktur der Strecke in Kroatien ist, ich ich schon schrieb, immer noch im Zustand wie vor 100 Jahren. Erst läßt man eine Eisenbahnstrecke verkommen, investiert nichts, dann dünnt man den Zugverkehr und den Fahrplan aus, tut überhaupt nichts für den Komfort der Fahrgäste, und dann wundert man sich, daß niemand mehr fährt, verwendet das aber als Argument für eine Einstellung. Das scheint in vielen Ländern auf der ganzen Welt so zu sein. - The infrastructure of the line in Croatia, as I have already said, is still in the same condition as it was 100 years ago. First you let a railway line fall into disrepair, you don't invest anything, then you reduce the number of trains and the timetable, do absolutely nothing for the comfort of the passengers, and then you wonder why no one is using it anymore, but use that as an argument for stopping and cancelling it. This seems to be the case in many countries around the world.

Istarske pruge propale nažalost. Zarasle u korov, stanice oronule i koloseci neupotrebljivi. Ništa nije uloženo od vremena kada se ova deonica pre četiri ili pet decenija masovno koristila širom Jugoslavije da bi silni turisti stigli na more. Baš žalosno stanje.

Il paesaggio è suggestivo, ma le condizioni della ferrovia e del suo armamento sono pessime. Una linea tra due importanti nodi ferroviari come Pula e Divaça ancora a binario unico e così mal ridotta. I croati non investono molto sulla ferrovia.

Its single track bc its not that important (not much people travel by that) the railway that should be built and that should have 2 tracks is Pula-Rijeka through the Učka mountain.
