This was great to have a listen to. It put into words some of things I've been thinking about. And the tip about Googling what a particular emotion is trying to indicate to you was super helpful. Thanks for the ramble, Rainy 🌧️ Have a lovely day/night 🌧️

Dear Rainy, This is one such video which I feel I needed tremendously. I am at a very volatile stage in life thus causing my thoughts towards a particular topic very fluid. I wanted to request you to make such a video but maybe it's telepathy that you uploaded it. You are someone I deeply admire, way more than I can ever express. I really, really want to see you succeed at every stage of life. You are a kind, beautiful soul.

Thank you so much, that's very sweet of you. I hope this video can help start you down the path of emotional wellbeing. I highly recommend finding a therapist you feel comfortable with and talking to them, as well as journaling about your feelings and experiences.

I wish i would have had this video a few years ago, I went through about a full year of 1. Symptoms of depression and 2. Not understanding my own emotions, I've learned a lot of what you said through trial and error and being more observant, I do believe however that this video would have helped me tremendously back then, thank you for making something that I have the ability to send to someone when they need help going through what I've been through previously

I'm really glad! And it's never too late to reinforce and learn the rest of that stuff. Therapy is really helpful for learning and exploring these things too. I've also got a bunch of other videos like this one, generally falling under the umbrella of 'psychoeducation'.

@@rainydayaudios7754 I've been listening to quite a few of your audios that relate to psychology and emotion, it's very nice to learn and hear educated people's perspectives, especially when they have oh so nice a voice

@@bubblezz. Aw, thank you very much. I love making those kinds of audios, even if they're not as popular.

I just wanted you to know that your channel has become my favourite. Your audios bring me a level of peace and contentment I didn't know it was possible for me to reach it, thank you endlessly. Could you please do a comfort audio for loneliness? Like, even when a person is surrounded by people, they may still feel alone, due to lack of love and actual care from others, things can seem really shallow, including relationships nowadays. It's really hard to feel understood and connected... I'm sorry if I can't get my thought straight, It's pretty late and I barely keep my eyes open, but I needed to come here to thank you for doing this. You are gifted

Thank you for your nice instructions. Giving emotions a name is such a simple but very effective way. I am very glad that I have discovered you. You are almost a therapist to me and I love how you use words and language. I can learn from that. Your breathy way of speaking has quite the effect on me (as I have listened to some other audios of yours and associate it with other topics 😉) and I really have to pull myself together to fully pay attention to what you are saying...😊 Lots of love and keep the good work👏👏💪

"You may need to develop your language a bit more..." Ouch, I feel personally attacked. More often than not during arguments I catch myself saying something like "What you said is neither good nor bad, it just is" and I think it may be my attempt to really uderstand what the other person is feeling and validate it in some way, but I can't seem to bring back that emotion to me, if that makes sense. So I think I need to work on that with, as you said, language to really bridge that gap. Maybe I need to just guess more. I wish I wasn't around people who perceive being vocal about one's emotions as being some sort of taboo. It's exhausting sometimes because I'm doing all this work on myself and on top of that, if I want to have a fruitful conversation, I also need to meet other people where they are, and where they are is typically being bottled up and not ready at all to talk about stuff that is magically brought up when things already escalated. But I feel like it's crucial to peaceful living and establishing honest relationships. Some technical notes. Your audios are always perfect sound wise and I was surprised as I heard those mouth sound and thought Wow the heat must have really took a toll on him. But then I read it was intentional. I quite like them, the audio feels a bit more intimate and relaxing. I really hope you're doing well, and thank you for the continuous effort in putting out these audios

No attack intended! We all need to improve our language and develop better emotional intelligence. Guessing is fine, but so is asking. You're allowed to ask them what they're feeling, it isn't "cheating" or anything. It's tough to unlearn the negative habits we've picked up from family and those around us, but it is possible and it sounds like you're working on it already.
