This is exactly what we do, John Deere baler with some Vermeer V rakes, we never did do the 2 man baling operation tho, as long as I can remember we’ve been doing this. The only thing that sucks is the oldheads I work with steal the good tractors and I get a rickety 4240 with garbage A/C😂

6 people disliked the video because they are mad someone put them on an open cab tractor with no canopy to rake hay today. 😂

Do you need a bigger horsepower tractor to run this set up?

What model rake is that?

that was cool great setup. but do you loose many leaves. or does your climate let you do the raking that way. guess what im trying to say does humidity allow you to do that. here i think we would end up with sticks. great video though. around here i have more customers then hay. but only have 45 acres when it is all planted.

+Howard Younger Yeah as long as the hay is dry we're good to go. We just tedder the hay if it's not drying evenly. If it's super thick hay this setup doesn't work as well.

We are producing hay in Ethiopia and we want to export to any country and we want market if you can help us

How much does a setup like that cost just the way you have it in the video...
@HayMap3 жыл бұрын
Well if you buy it all brand spanking new, $45k for the new model baler, $32k for a rake with driveshaft, $140k for a tractor that size so $217,000 💥😳

Front rake would be far better and more efficient - no driving on on the crop.
