TRIVIA NOTE: It is the same mask from the first movie. Why it looks different is because of time. It spent a couple of years under producer Debra Hill's bed, and what with her being a chain smoker, the cig smoke gave the white latex a bit of a yellow tint; The neck-bottom of the mask lost the white on it because the people wearing the mask would pull it off by grabbing the neck-bottom; etc. Hope this trivia note helped out. ;)

Joel Craike At the end of Halloween II (1981), the scene when Dr. Loomis struck the Lighter than BOOM! That scene supposedly takes place real early in the morning because it was so late at night. What time in the morning do you think it was when Dr. Loomis struck the Lighter?

One of the best characters in Halloween 2 was Deputy Gary Hunt played by Hunter von leer. His character should have been the new sheriff in Halloween 4 instead of Meeker.

It's my second favourite after the original. I have to say I got three problems with it 1. The brother/sister reveal which isn't needed. 2. Michael walking too slow. 3. Lack of other patients in the hospital (apart from Laurie it's empty).

This is my favorite Halloween film too. Though I will say the original film is technically the best and I do love it as well, Halloween II is my personal favorite to watch. I just love the dark mood/atmosphere it has as well as that electronic score.

I agree on your opinion. Idk if you already know this fact but toward the end of your video you mention about why the mask looked so different and why couldn't they bring back the original. They actually did. The reason it looked totally different is because john carpenter and debra hill didnt think much of a sequal so Hill just stashed it underneath her bed for a couple years plus with her smoking just made it look bad. Wish they could of re-did the process if creating the original mask but it dont matter anymore. Its still a good sequal flick. Great review, dude.

halloween 2 is my 2nd favorite halloween just behind Halloween 6 Producers Cut my most favorite Halloween film of all. I love too in part 2 that we get some hints about Myers with the samhain connection

the only thing wrong with Halloween 2 was the flashbacks that came before the explanation of him and Laurie Strode being relatives. Had they left out the flashbacks of her visiting him in the psych ward...sold, but great movie other than that

I LOVE this movie, good review. Btw have you heard about "Halloween returns" it's set to take place after this movie which I think is a great idea although they already did that with "h20". And the fact that it's going to made from the saw creators is a turn off but I must say I'm glad it's not a rob zombie h3, or another remake.....

This was a great fucking sequel kept up with H1 1978... This also should of been the last halloween movie.. H3 was not that bad it just should of not been called a halloween movie.. In my opinion this was the last Halloween film..The rest fron 1988 to 2009 were fucking garbage...long live Donald Pleasence he was great n H1 and this movie.. HALLOWEEN 1 and 2 are the best of the franchise. First movie is classic,true,but Halloween 2 has no problem with keeping the same level of creepiness. I might get some bad words for this,but i think that cinematography in this movie is better then the one in APOCALYPSE NOW. TV cut of H2 is on the other hand,very badly edited cut of the movie. Between TV cut of H2 and THE THING, i can't decided which one is worse.

What is your point? I enjoy the original Halloween and Halloween II. I enjoy Friday the 13th. I already know that Friday the 13th was made because of Halloween...even the writer of Friday the 13th blatantly said that his job was to rip off Halloween. And I hate Rob Zombie's Halloween flicks. Never seen a hospital so empty but thats neither here nor there! Jamie Lee Curtis does'nt do much but she's probably still in that shock mode of WHAT THE FUCK! Ive seen better wigs on a terminal cancer victim than on Laurie! Donald Pleasence is a force of nature in this film! Micheal Myers is still badd ass with some great kills! Love the Mr Sandman song into a faster paced Halloween soundtrack! 2 Entrys 2 Classics!
