being kind nowadays is often mistaken for flirtation or considered weird
@TheGonzaloMagic11 жыл бұрын
It may be considered flirting, but will never be considered weird. People like kindness directed towards them. for example, who doesnt like a shop assistant who is super friendly? it makes you smile, it betters your mood when you pass through people like that. And you can do it to. its simple, and it will make you feel good. In the flirting part, girls can tell after a few talks with you what are your real intentions, or even in first contact. A honest smile and positive atittude is very different from a flirty one.

Uem Z fkdjdjkddjdjdkk something that made me so aggravated was that some guy kept smiling at my friend and so she thinks it's him being creepy, stalkerish, and weird when it was just him trying to be nice Sorry had to get that out how people just don't accept the fact that people can just be nice ok peace and blessings everyone

A decade ago after just getting my income tax, I had over a grand in cash in my wallet. I left it like a dummy in a mall bathroom stall. An elderly couple had found it and left their # w/ mall security (they were uncomfortable leaving it with a stranger). I called them and they drove 20+ mins in a snow storm to meet me halfway. Every penny was accounted for& they refused my reward money. They’d even found a phone list in my wallet and called a few of my contacts to tell them they had my wallet. Over ten years later and I’ve never forgotten that. Kindness truly goes a long way. This couple restored my faith in humanity ❤️

This is a really good video about just being kind. One thing people forget is that they can be nice without needing to get something in return. Or that it doesn't have to be something big like helping out at a soup kitchen (though you should still do that if you can). Being kind can simply be helping an old person at the store lift their heavier items onto the register or telling someone they look nice. That's all it takes and if everyone did a few kinds acts a day then the world would be a lot less jaded.

I'm so much in love with such kind of videos. I look at people who are not afraid to express their kindness and it makes me belive in humanity. And it makes me think about going out of my own shell, because i feel there's a veil on my heart that prevents me from expressing love and kindness properly. And all I wanna do is to feel connected to people again. Thank you, SoulPancake, for showing me that it's posssible. =)

Once I worked as a cashier in a gift store, a man comes to pay for 3 Easter baskets, he started telling me, he had been in jail for 20years, and he was super excited to be FREE! And wanted to show the world, Kindness!! he was so happy, I watched carefully, hoping wth all my heart that ppl wuld NOT Abe mean to him. Each one of the persons he tried to give the basket to, they completely rejected him and got so mad, they thought he was crazy, and all he said was... Hello good person, I am so happy to be alive and I just want to give you this Easter basket so you can have a great day... they cursed and were very mean to him. I had to step out and tell those ppl off!!! But sadly, when a random stranger wants to do something great, ppl get so scared, ppl are so not used to kindness.. But I Hope Gratitude WINS!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This woman had her child in her arms and the little girl dropped her pink little unicorn that was one of those eyeball pop things where u squeeze it and the eyeballs pop out of the character . anyways they were leaving papa J's (pizza place) and the little girl dropped her doll as they were herding to their truck. Then the women opened the door to the vehicle and put the little girl inside. (The girl was about 2 and didn't know how to speak just quite yet) So I walk to the toy pick it up and say "ma'am, is this your children's toy?" I said to her and she said back in a nice voice"Yes, Thank you". The whole time my family didn't know what I was doing when I stopped and turned around. Basically, do a nice jester when possible.

Good info here on being a happier person.Although I disagree when Julian stated that the kindness has to be more than small kindness acts.I've found that when I'm giving a good tip for average service or really listening and sympathizing to an associate who is griping about his current life.That helps me be a happier person.I must admit i don't like to listen to people who whine about their life. To be good at doing acts of kindness on a fairly regular basis one must be a very good and giving person.There just aren't that many people like that.Our egos say well why she I be so kind when alot of people aren't kind and giving to me.

Last year, I did constant things like always holding the door for a good 5 minutes for the influx of people on my way from the bus and also for those getting out of gym, but I wasn't really happy. To me, it became kind of like a science experiment. I'd try to judge the character of people based on their reactions to me holding the door. I reasoned that since I was doing this every day, it would mean that I would learn more about their personality- did they not say anything the first day because of shyness and work their way up to saying thank you? Did the say thank you out of politeness the first time then stop showing gratitude as time went on? I don't know if it actually worked or had any scientific benefit, but it was interesting and a kind of ritual. Back then I was very obsessed with high moral standards and a big sense of self. I was also craving validation because I was lonely. But this didn't cure my loneliness, or draw more people towards me. I don't know where I'm going with this. I guess I'll close by saying that I don't regret holding the door or always picking up trash, but doing them daily didn't necessarily make me happy.
