I have a mini fix with a Thunder Chicken suppressor. My purpose is for PA white tail 100 yards and in. So it makes sense to run subs. It’s a hike to get to my tree stand. I used to run a 17” barreled 308 with a dead air can. My mini fix with a can is almost half the weight. I get really good results with Discreet Ballistics and Gorilla.

I got a Howa barreled action and had the barrel cut to 10" and threaded, then put it in an MDT chassis. I can fit it in a Ridgid tool box, so it doesn't look like I have a gun. It's a perfect gun to keep with me and still be able to reach out to 200 yards. With the suppressor it's shorter than a bolt gun with a 16" barrel. I think I killed a deer with it last year. I agree it's a specialty gun that fits a special need.

Without seeing its profile, I agree with the barrel heating theory to explain the POI shift. Then again, it could be the scope or the trigger nut. 😁

The Fix is a subsonic 2-tap hunting gun. But people tend to want to treat it like its some type of precision set up. LE buy it & the cross and have issues with both. Its not made for that stuff.

The point, i believe, is for it to be suppressed. short overall package in a caliber designed to perform out of an 8-10inch barrel both subsonic and super. essentially, it's a honeybadger in bolt-action for fudds or people locked in Dem states where ARs are hard to own legally. Or for the silencer enthusiasts who want even more suppression out of their 300bo
