Range Rover Evoque Rear Brake pad and Rotor Discs Replacement +Caliper painting and BrakeServiceMode

Hi, there lovely people, in today's video I have for you 45 minutes full of details and content on how to change the rear discs and brake pads, also how to clean and paint your calipers and how to grease your sliding pins, also how to get in the maintenance mode and how to exit from there. We will go from a dusty old environment brake to a new colorful full of vibes area. Also, don't worry if you think this video is too big and you already know most of the stuff on it, I will create a short version with chapters like "Rear Brake Maintenance mode" or "Evoque - How to change the discs and pads in 10 minutes" that is more straight to the point. But for now, enjoy the full version.
Also as a small note, for my 2015 Evoque model, there was no manual section to put the car in brake maintenance mode, it can be done only via the diagnostic tool.

Also, i have to say that getting the vehicle into parking brake maintenance mode without the tool was hell, the tutorials on youtube were obsolete and i found out later that the guys from Land Rover disabled the option to put it in maintenance manually for customer safety, also i could feel that on my skin when i pressed parking+acceleration, the vehicle will rush forward. So please use the diagnostic tool :)

When you put the brakes in service mode you dont use a retractor tool. There is a button sequence to enter the service mode, you dont even need the obd tool.

If you know the exact sequence, please share it with us, I tried over 6 different methods and not even one worked for my 2015 automatic model. Also, the ones with parking brakes + acceleration are hazardous! Especially if you do it in a garage or tight spot because the car will turn on and accelerate.

@@gonzalo1972 if you watched my video you could see exactly what I said above in the comment and also in the video, the Landrover disabled this one on newer models, now if you do those steps when you press the start button the car will start and rush forward, thats extremely dangerous. The only way to put it in maintenance mode is via the Diagnostic tool.

@@SanKraNsWorkshop the engine wont start if dont press the brake pedal. The procedure clearly states IGNITION ON (ENGINE OFF), so the car will not move. Sorry if this doesnt work in your model.

@@gonzalo1972 no biggies, i have the both diagnostic tools the Icarsoft and also Mongoose that is used in the dealership service. They are both verry helpful in troubleshooting problems and maintenance. Its sad that the LR disabled the shortcuts but thats it, we adapt and carry on.
