🚨🚨🚨 I had challenged myself to not cut anything out of this video. It's essentially a continuous take. So any time I stumble on my words or repeat something, it wasn't an editing mistake. Forgot to say that in the beginning.

For your hair, I think the best place to start is looking up the “hair pattern chart” it goes from 1-4 on one side (1-mostly straight, 2-wavy, 3-curly, 4-coils) then a-c on the other side. It can help to see what pattern your hair is and then use that number to look up hair routines (for example: 3a curly hair routine). Each pattern type needs different care. You can also look into “hair porosity”. As your hair finds it’s natural curl pattern, it may be a lot curlier than you think. Good luck!

Ok real talk tho, I NEVER mind how long your videos are. I just like listening to you talk! From one OCD brain to another, it does in fact make my brain very happy! Love your videos girl💖✨

Katie girl I would watch a 5 minute video and I would watch a 3 hour video from you. Seeing your face genuinely gives me so much serotonin. You could post a 10 minute video of you just staring at the screen and I’d still watch because I just adore you and your content. Please don’t forget to be kind to yourself 🖤🖤

Thanks Katie -- I loved this! Always really enjoy hearing you talk about your reading -- it's both very informative and very entertaining. I appreciate the one take aspect of this and how you honestly covered all the books you read. I've gotten many top-notch rec's that I've gone on to buy from you.😊

I don’t have the attention span to read through all the comments so hopefully I’m not just repeating the same thing 20 other people have said, but I love the minimal editing video. Watching your mind jump from place to place, think out loud, was incredibly validating. I think that’s the right word. Whether I’m on or off my adhd medication this is how I talk. And I’m interrupted a lot or just straight up told to get to the point. So to get to watch you talk about books in a stream of consciousness kind of way made the inside of my brain feel like the color yellow and my heart happy ❤

I'm going to have to watch this later, but I've been wanting to recommend a book to you since I've read it. It's called Letters to the Purple Satin Killer by Joshua Chaplinsky. It does what The Quiet Tenant tried and failed (in my opinion) to do. I was so entertained throughout. It's my favorite book this year.

👩🏻‍🦱 maybe start with scrunching mousse into your hair. try this: wash hair, towel dry without scrubbing, take a handful or less of mousse in your hand & scrunch it on one side of your hair like you're crumpling your hair, if that makes sense. then do the same on the other side. it may take time for you to figure out the perfect way to let your curls come out. some hair tutorials go overboard or some follow routines for the wrong curl type. but try things out. the simpler, the better, imo. all my childhood, i thought i had fluffy hair cuz i always combed it out. one day my coworker told me about ouidad (hair product) & when i tried it, i was like, i have wavy-curly hair? wth?! hahahahha btw, the waves look cute on you. have fun being a curly girl now. 😊

Putting Tessa Bailey in the bottom because the man said Champagne is for women. But then putting Haunting Adeline straight to the top directly after? When he is a stalker and there is a lot of questionable consent. Baffling
