From what I read on tv tropes about High School Musical, Drew Seely auditioned for the part of Troy and Zac Efron was one of the last people to be cast. The songs that were written for Troy had a range that was too high for Zac to sing so they got Drew to dub over him instead. Of course, this was fixed for the sequels.

In terms of whether the 'three things happening at the same time' in hsm is realistic, sometimes my school would have games that overlapped, but it was like volleyball and football,, cause we didn't have science competitions (???) and the drama thing is entirely avoidable cause the teacher could have just rescheduled, it was entirely in her hands. With the sports, its orgainised by like a board or something, witha ll the dates set for like months in advance

Lol HSM got a whole trilogy, concert tour, and a TV series. Camp Rock & Teen Beach Movie faded after 2 films. Plus, the latter had songs being used for Disney On Ice. Descendants was a beast all on its own.

Chad isn't a villain , he thought he was helping his friend keep focus on what he really cares about , not some out of the whim musical also Troy is the " star " player so if he's not focus they'll lose most likely , Chad thought he was helping his friend & team , he wasn't out to get Troy or meant to hurt him . Let's not forget that Chad didn't force Troy to say those things about Gabriella , Troy did that all by himself . Also when Chad saw his friend down Chad apologized for hurting him & supported him from then on .
