There are characters on here which make me believe winning the melee best of five is not a win con even still, because they'll be so malded that they'll still kill the 3 afterwards, rather than take the L. But it does give them more victories. Do we think Goku would win a best of 5 against Jo's Falco? I don't. He would 100% accept the loss. Others... Not so sure. Vegeta would 100% mald and AT LEAST ask for a run back if not demand an actual fight.

I'm not convinced he wouldn't kill. like, they're out here talking about characters that _could_ kill but _would_ spare them, and I think Askeladd might be the opposite. killing people is a tactical move for him. and if, tactically speaking, you are trying to kill him, then you are probably dying. I am sad that they skipped Thorfinn... I think that's his picture near the bottom of the list, though I've never seen him wear that outfit before. still, it'd suck to try and fight Thorfinn, because he'd be trying his absolute hardest to convince you not to fight the whole time, and if you're not an asshole, he'd be pretty convincing. even if you could beat him, it wouldn't feel like a victory.

If this was when bakago defeated all for one than this was recorded in around December 3rd last year which would make the most sense because the other awnser would be when bakago lost to shigaraki which happened in September 2022 which would also fit but i personally believe that alpha is referring to when bakago beat all for one

memory-planting powers wouldn't work on deku at peak (his powers have built-in resistance to mental attacks re: deku vs shinsou, 4th movie also) but he's really susceptible to regular old manipulation without any powers (many such examples but they're not usually focused on; kirishima goading him into rescuing bakugou is probably the most obvious one). all you'd need to do is befriend/ally with him and convince him that whatever you do to get him killed would "make him a true hero" or something like that. might be a little tougher to execute when he can detect malice but he's got mental issues so he's likely to give into rhetorical/moral quandaries without his friends backing him up (deku & toga encounter in final battle arc). so you did rate him correctly but he's vulnerable for a different (more pathetic) reason
