RARE Key Date Coin Found Metal Detecting

In this video I metal detect a farmer field where a house used to stand back in the 1880s. I end up finding multiple old coins and a RARE KEY DATE CANADIAN LARGE CENT!!!

Glad to see you back and what a doozy of a hunt! Congrats on the ‘58! 👍🎉 Only 30k minted compared to 12m 1859’s! Nice haul of old copper, sweet DS’s and an old slicky! Such as brutal coin shortage back in the day made those unfortunately too common, being in circulation for 50+ years. Sweet Eddie silver and nice array of relics. Cap badge is sweet and cool old lock! TC, ATB and happy hunting!

Great hunt, some great early coins there for sure. 1858 LC's are a rare find, only ever found one. Looks like an early switch lock you found. Those are cool locks. Take care!!
