Raw overtaking nitro in the win column is inevitable. IMO nitro had already peaked by mid 97 and Raw was excellent for the next couple years.

Although Nitro were ahead in the ratings and will be for sometime yet. Raw is head and shoulders above the program the Nitro is putting on each week. WCW basically had one good idea the NWO. Even by this point it’s run it’s course.

It's a kind of crazy to think Owen Hart didn't win his first IC title until 1997. You'd think they would have put the strap on him at least once prior to '97. He worked some high profile matches. He was working in the Tag Team division a good portion of his run though.

1997 simply was the best year in wrestling. It made you want to tune in every week especially from May to December unlike the current product in the WWE where it is so hard to watch now. Believe most long time fans can agree on this that we rather watch older stuff over Raw today & SD to a lesser degree. Thank you for all you do by up loading the videos. It is the best channel by a mile 👍👍👍

I get that Pillman's praying for Bret came at the expense of detailing why he was aligned with the Hart Foundation against Austin in terms of the long-term storytelling, but acting like a televangelist was a pretty creative way to generate heat on both himself and Bret. To me, that's a promo that I think only Pillman could've pulled off effectively. And the ending visual of Pillman's Joker-esque insane smile capped it off as arguably the best Pillman episode of Raw.

Based on his promos, I'd say Ahmed's gang is the Mushmouths. Also, I was always mystified by just how over Lex Luger was in these days. You know something? I came across this channel by accident and at first, I didn’t know what to think of it. I was a big fan of WCW back in 97-98, not so much in 99, the Fingerpoke of Doom turned me off to WCW and while I would take in a Nitro here and there, it just lost the appeal. This series is so refreshing and brings back such memories. Thank you for it!
