Ray Dalio is one of the greatest economic minds of all time. He is the founder of Bridgewater, the largest and arguably most prestigious hedge fund in the world. This spot at the pinnacle of finance gives Dalio an unparalleled view into the inner workings of the economy and the stock market. That is why it got my attention when recently Dalio began talking about what he is calling “The Great Wealth Transfer”. He describes this so-called “Great Wealth Transfer” as a once in a century shift that will almost certainly have impacts for generations to come. Ray Dalio recently released an essay titled “What’s Happening with the Economy? The Great Wealth Transfer”.

Is this an opportune moment to invest in stocks? What's the expected recovery timeline? I understand that many people believe equities are currently undervalued. However, there are strategies in play in this market that aren't easily accessible to the average person. Should I consider alternative investment options that may be more suitable for me?

Here's the elephant in the room that brings into question how rational this explanation is. The government cut checks for what, $1500? For those that didn't need the money, it made no appreciable difference in their lives. For the economically sensible who were under duress that money was gone in the first month or two as they scraped to pay their bills. For those who are irresponsible with money and were deep in debt, that money got spent over the weekend in a cheap hotel room with a couple of girls and a white powdery substance. Any debt forgiven would quickly build back up. How has this stimulus had any lasting and appreciable impact with regards to the buying power of households?

@nodoubtbb
@nodoubtbb 6 ай бұрын
@@yung784 more government spending equals more money printing, equals larger national debt, equals more inflation. Interest rates will be cut by the Federal reserve in order to make the debt payment sustainable. Home buyers who are not buying now rush into the market in order to buy at lower rates, creating offers well above asking price. Home prices go to the moon. The increase in home prices rises because Home prices are determined by supply and demand.

You forgot to mention that most of the stimulus went to the richest Americans. Raising taxes is not hated by most Americans. The problem is that the people with all of the money also run our country. Considering both major US parties raise our debt, blame is on both. Maybe you could make a video about how the consolidation of wealth has transferred political power away from the majority and into the minority. Show how our elections are won by a minority vote further consolidating wealth and power

Elections are easy. Instead of voting in-person, you mail anonymous ballots to people who cast an anonymous vote and have a for-profit company run the ballot counting machines. Then tell the people it will “take a few days” after the election to collect all the mail-in ballots and count them correctly. What could possibly undermine the integrity of elections with this fantastic voting system of anonymous paper ballots?

They are anti-tax in order to greedily build profits instead of building revenue for the United States of America. Taxes are unpopular because of big money brainwashing. Your video neglects to show the benefits of higher taxes on big business eventhough big business is the biggest beneficiary of a thriving market of consumers who need their country defended, their infrastructure maintained, their children educated, and their income guaranteed in a well deserved retirement earned by participating in the American dream as hardworking citizens who vote.

Are you sure your explanation about supply and demand for govt bonds is correct? If there's more demand for these bonds, the return(interest rate) goes down, as the interest payments themselves are a fixed amount. When the price of a bond increases, but the payment stays the same, the effective interest rate goes down. Higher interest rates therefore reflect a lower demand for bonds.

I'm just an idiot but no matter what financial gymnastics they do that debt always lands on the back of the working class. If the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer, there's not gonna be a peaceful reset there's gonna be war. Too much faith is being put into people following the law while under financial duress. Not everything works like it should forever. I don't really have a firm grasp on finances but neither do a lot of people and that's not gonna change no matter how many gurus tell us how to make more money. If the poor can't afford houses, all the houses burn. Regardless of if those times are soon, they will happen eventually because no government is perfect and we've all got enemies. My observation as a simpleton is that poor people don't accept responsibility for their own financial decisions. That's the perspective I think is missing from financial discussions like these. The "reset" will come when the barbarians can't pay for the house and food. You can blame them for being stupid with money, but it will still become your problem or the government's problem.

The government cant go broke and as long as the uS has the global reserve currency status, close to full employment, low inflation then not alot can go wrong. Having no government debt and a surplus could actually have a detrimental effect to the people.

I don't agree with welfare & don't think it should be a thing. People need to work, & more people need to stop having kids if they can't afford it. Just my opinion. People in poverty who keep reproducing will just create more poverty, it's an endless cycle. I don't think people should get free handouts just because they decided to have kids when they couldn't afford it. Great explanation.

We definitely have interesting times ahead. Never a dull moment. Ray Dalio gives a great explanation of what is to come. How are you hedging and protecting yourself for the future.

Dalio is helping plan all of this. He's a traitor. And true pos. But, he talks like a nice guy and seems harmless so enjoy.

Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $485k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choices I have made recently

I have come across her already. Yea I was a cook for 4 years and was going to start school to become a full chef and then the pandemic hit literally a week before classes were supposed to start. So yea being in the hospitality industry I lost almost everything. So I had to start over. Things changed when I came across Lucy Carter who is a disciplined trader. I have been able to make profits consistently. This pandemic helped me take my finances more seriously. Thanks for your help once again Lucy.

The S&P 500 finished down 20% in 2022. This means long term investors had a great starting point in 2023. Here are 4 very popular ETF’s: $VOO- S&P 500 fund $VTI- Total US stock market $QQQ- High growth, tech $SCHD- Growth + Dividends. My dividends for the past year; $67k Blessed and grateful, disciplined and focused.

Consistently investing in high quality dividend paying ETFs & stocks over the long term is a relatively easy strategy to create generational wealth. My "boring" ETF's portfolio paid me over $3,000 in dividends last month.

any recommendations for a reliable monthly investment? I hope to ultimately supplement my income from work with a monthly income from investments. I will still make long-term investments, but it would be wonderful to have a little additional money each month.

The US stock market had been on it’s longest bull-run in history, so the mass hysteria and panic is relatable considering we’re not accustomed to such troubled markets, but there are avenues lurking around if you know where to look. I’ve netted over $350k in the past 10months and still making gains till date.
