Yeah, we already working on it for a month or so, it was completely rewritten to support Win 10 and be optimized for new features (like Collapse in this video) to be added a bit later.

I hope so, we need 2 more months to update Max plugin, then 2-3 months to add some new features in Unity, and then MAYBE we will start with Unreal engine.

All 3ds Max plugin customers get one year of all new updates for free. We are going to release the new Max plugin build 1.86 in next two weeks with a fixed bug on Win 10, and then it will take a month or so to add Collapse feature in build 1.87

@@MirVadim Yes, I can't access it for 3 days now. At first all I got was 404 error, now it shows "Index of /" followd by 2 folders named "cgi-bin" and "joomla30".

There is public method Demolish() which you can use in your scripts. As for keyframes, no, but maybe I can add some kind of Timer feature that will do this.

We are thinking about buying this asset, but can not find a video example of how it could be used for chopping down trees. We suspect it can be, but appears to be no videos on that specific implementation. So as the axe is hitting the tree, their would be chunks coming off and after 5 to 7 wacks only that part of the tree being hit would come apart allow the tree to fall. Leaving the bottom tree stump part in the ground. We want this because if an Orc or Golem wacks the tree in the same place it should shatter only in that place and the top of the tree falls with the stump part left. Could you do a video showing how to do this? We know the slice feature would work, but most players could not do this in one strike with a bladed weapon. We are most likely going to buy it as it is such a versatile tool that clearly does way more than shown in the videos.

Hi, I think I will need to add some soecial support for teature you need. Slice for now slices whole mesh by infinite plane, you cant apply ut just at one limited area. Fragmentation also fragments whole mesh using voronoi diagram. I can drop you full package to try it first to see if it can be used in your project. Contact me via email or discord.

@@MirVadim We purchased RayFire and look forward to using it and also experimenting on the trees. We think we will slice the trees into three parts in a 3D Editor. Bottom Stump, Small Destructible Section, Upper Tree. Apply RayFire to the small destructible section and use a script to piece the tree back together. When the Destructible section is damaged enough the tree will fall. We will give the tree 8 direction paths to choose from to fall. What ever direction the player or NPC is facing when the script triggers the fall, the tree will fall in that direction leaving the stump in place. When the tree contacts the ground it will be replaced with small logs and some falling branches to be picked up for crafting or fire wood. We work in Low Poly and Polygon style games so no worries on how it looks, it will definitely work. Something like this, but instead of only a stump and upper tree, we will have a small destructible section also to apply RayFire to. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gICUg5R-famkh9k

Hi, you don't need to but you can. There is Shatter component which allows to fragment object in Editor, save fragments as an asset and then use them as reference for demolition. But as I said you can use FBX fragments from other packages as well.

@@Remembadaname55 I was working in Unity on my own game alone for two years in my free time, kind of a hobby and motivation to learn Unity. Also Epic announced Chaos Engine and Unity didn't have anything like this, so I decided to port it to Unity while this niche is empty. Now it is not :)

this destruction system looks amazing, but are there management systems for object pooling or a toggle to destroy fragments after a certain amount of time? i'm also wondering how this would work with objects LODS. would each LOD need to have the same script?

Hi, there is a Manager component that manages pooling, although it is not optimized yet enough. Also, there is Fading feature that allows removing demolished or activated objects in the scene after some time. As for LOD, sorry, but I didn't add any special support for LOD system, this is something for one of the next releases.

@@MirVadim thanks for the info. i wish i had found your tools sooner. the one i have is good, but i spent an ungodly amount of time fracturing things in blender. it didn't have any fracture methods, only object swapping, parenting, and particle swaps. i'm amazed and frustrated by how easy you've made it hahah

Yes, but mesh which you are going to fragment shoul not have topology issues like not closed edges (open volume), unwelded vertices and overlapped faces. Otherwise output fragments also will have all kind of topology issues.
