I love how he makes a reference to Telly Savalas as Kojak with the bald head and tootsie pop, and to Peter Falk as Columbo the detective with the trench coat. Have to be old enough to remember those shows, but what fun it is to catch those references. Go Ray.

We played this at my great Uncle Ray's funeral years ago. We all laughed so hard. He grew up the older brother of four sisters, including my great aunt Margaret and he'd always called her and say "It's me again Margaret...Hello? Is this Margaret?" With the laugh and everything. We were howling through the tears, it was such a great time, exactly what he would have wanted. Thank you Mr. Stevens and R.I.P Uncle Ray and Aunt Margaret.

stretrat48- Really enjoyed your comment about the Funeral and the music. I went to a cousin's Funeral bout 20 years ago and they played Elvis Hymns and I told my wife that I didn't think that could ever be topped. Course I was wrong, Her cousin died and at his funeral , they played "Blue Grass Hymns". I was really impressed when they Played" How Great Thou Art" with that Mandolin Solo on the chourses/Bridges. Brought Tears to my eyes, but our music leader at my church wasn't to keen about doing that at the church where I attend. (you just had to have been there to appreciate it). Maybe Ray could work that into song/story!
