Some months ago I take a cheap chassis and a cheap very little and narrow bodyshell.. I got the best Crawler in our garage ! It was so better than Axial and Traxxas to get the name of "The King". From then to now all the interesting job for us has been to make each Crawler get performance the most similar to "The King". This has made a great growth of performance for all our vehicles. ...in the end our "King" is quite similar to the vehicle in you video (except our is really cheap!) One of the simple teachings is that the main obstacle to crawling performance is the body shell !!

yep! I am awaiting a new RTR gatekeeper, gonna pull the cage off and sell, slamthe frame low and redo susp geometry, and get the powerwagon cab on it. I'm pulling any weight off the rear and top and get brass on the front! should be fun. I always wanted a low CG rig like this, but like your "king"....budget!

It would be very cool to see a full build of one of the lcg crawlers. I think one of the most confusing things with these is knowing what parts to get for a complete rig. Obviously the electronics are easy to figure out, plus the tires etc. I dont think you could just buy the chassis then take an scxii or iii and take the rest of the parts off of it to complete the lcg unit. In order to get the best performance you need to get the right parts. Thanks for this video and I hope you do many more on this type of crawler.

Could you use these frame rails an just use all your stock components? Like transfer a element to those rails?
@BigSungHobbies4 жыл бұрын
It's doable on Gspeed for Element, but it's not a 1 to 1 transfer and you will need a bit of modding. I also have an Element Enduro, and I recently picked up Gspeed V3 chassis. I have been debating which route I want to take the Gspeed with, use the existing Enduro or just build custom. I ended up going with custom route. That being said, there are other LCG chassis out there for Element such as Deadloc Dredge chassis and GMRC Machette chassis that are more close to 1 to 1 transfer.

@lancevalente82694 жыл бұрын
Some guys do it to help the LCG and some do it so the shocks wont leak.... Its really just a preference thing
@Gurpreetsingh-dz1ct4 жыл бұрын
One reason shocks are upside down is just in case there is any air bubble in the shocks, the air bubble will be at the bottom of the so the shock rod stays in oil during articulation and at rest Wheres as if the shocks are mounted straight and there is a air bubble, the air bubble is still towards the bottom of the shock body thats were the shock is at rest, and it moves without any oil at that spot
