About time i found a video on how to bind the FS-i6 transmitter to the older type FS receivers. Successfully bound the transmitter and reciever in video withing minutes of watching this vid. Thank you, just what was needed. Ps picked up x2 of the same receiver's for less than £5 each which will be going into my fishing and sailboat 😊 no need to spend the £16-£20 on the more advanced version.🎉

Thank you so much. The binding issue with this cheap receiver almost made me to throw it away.

Heyy.... great video!!! It's really hard to find people who explain this well. I know I'm a bit late but- I'm making an electric go-cart as a project and was wondering if I could connect this receiver to something that powerful (500w-1000w). The usual throttles that are used to control the go-cart take a similar input of 6v so I thought this could work. They also have one negative, one positive and one control wire and output ~1v to ~4 v (no throttle to full throttle). Can you measure the voltage output range of the receiver? connect the negative pin of the receiver to the negative of a multimeter and the control pin to the positive of the multimeter and test the voltage range with no throttle and full throttle. This would help me out a lottttt!!!! Hope you read this.

Hi Adam. How do I know what to set regarding the pwm or ppm or I bus or s bus. I can't find any answers to this

Thanks for this!! It was very enlightening. I think I'd still have an issue though... You see, my want is to use an iA6B and GR3E - TOGETHER on the same Vehicle. 😳😳 The iA6B in the Truck, and GR3E in the Trailer, JUST operating the Trailer Lights... While the iA6B operates the 4 Servos, the ESC, and seemingly HUNDREDS of LEDs on the Truck Cab itself. WOULD the iA6B work on the older Protocol?? Or should I just use the older A2 6 Channel Reciever? (Can't remember the name)

Hi Does that mean you have to re-set the RX set-up every time you use different RX,s.as I have a Number of FlySky FS-R6B 2.4Ghz 6CH AFHDS Receivers on older models,?
@RCwithAdam15 жыл бұрын
I think so. The AFHDS protocol has to be selected for each model profile.

Mmm my rx keeps “ forgetting “ failsafe config after a couple of powerups, Im using the fs gt3c with 3 new gr3e rx and they all behave the same way ;(

I want to use this radio for a rc truck. Is there any way to get throttle to use channel 2 rather than channel 3? Most radios have throttle of channel 2, flyskys own gt3b radio is channel 2 throttle and the rx fail safe is channel 2 , throttle which is good.
@RCwithAdam14 жыл бұрын
I think you could do that with a custom mix.

i am new and my X220 worked well until i decided to put on new props. When i turned on the Flysky I6 it did not bind. I open up my X220 because it would not bind itself. What I get is the "LED" light flashing slow and steady on my FS-IA6B receiver and i can NOT get my transmitter and receiver to bind. Is the receiver trashed somehow? What does the slow steady flashing represent? Please help

Really. It does almost work on any of their transmitters except my Fs-i6s Why! That's just stupid.
