Joe Ryan is under rated he makes fantastic videos!

He doesn't use Mosko so he isn't a real rider. 😅

If I ever buy a Royal Enfield (a possibility, for sure) I will fly to the mighty metropolis of Marnie, Iowa from my home in South Florida to pick it up. You've completely sold me on that dealership.

This actually happens several times a year. You should do this. Wahoo!

I can endorse the Rinowalk bags. I've had the 30 Liter on my Himalayan since I picked it up at Baxter's last year. I'm figuring at least 8,000 miles of exposure to the elements in both the US, and Mexico, no issues. I follow Joe, his channel is awesome! I think he is running the extra large bags, so far he's had them since before his trip to New Zealand.

I’d spend my money in Baxter cycles in a flash if I lived over there near that store….. you’re a brilliant ambassador for that company and I believe you they’re good

Used the biggest rackless Rhinowalks (the ones on the first Bear you showed) on my 650GS this summer for the Wyoming BDR and again the next month on the South Dakota BDR, not a single issue with them. Heaviest gear and tools in first and balance them side to side. Then I had a 40 liter dry bag (duffel) across the back for the lighter weight stuff, tent clothes etc.

Thanks for this information. Love hearing about the way this stuff works...especially because I'm going deep into the stuff for my bikes. Thanks again!

I love the rhino walk bag with the beaver tail, I used it all last summer and it held up great! I just wish it was water proof, at any sniff of rain you have to stop and put the cover on …

I was liking that duffel bag, have been thinking of something like that for my camping gear as well.....options, options

That bag was sharp. I currently use a smaller duffel. This larger one may work better. Wahoo!

That's somewhere to put my lunch and snacks sorted... I think soft luggage is my best option in case the bike wants a nap and lats down on the trails. Some great options there. Ride safe 👍 Wahoo!

I've fit all my camping gear plus more in one Rhinowalk Mechanic side case. I will only need the two of them and the Rhinowalk tailbag for a day, week, month or year... Colorado Mark.

Excellent luggage options Fuzzy! Are you going to run a comm system for the Alaska ride? I'm thinking about getting a new helmet and it occurred to me that maybe I should think about getting a matching comm system and get used to it before the trip. Wahoo Fuzzy!
@forgottenmotorcycles2 күн бұрын
I'm going back and forth on the comm system idea. It would be another piece of equipment to keep charged and maintain. Will have to think about that.

@@forgottenmotorcycles Yeah. I had a Lexin that they installed for me at the Giant Loop Rally in the Summer of 23. I took it out early this year because it made my helmet tight and the interior is kinda messed up up now too. Hence thinking about getting a new helmet.

Hey Fizzy, can you please comment on the left-hand exhaust header. It appears to be coated with something. Some owners have suggested that it is cast iron. No one has mentioned this in any of the reviews.
@forgottenmotorcycles2 күн бұрын
I think a section of it is cast. I'll see if I can do a video on this. Thanks!
@nigelfisher68962 күн бұрын
@forgottenmotorcycles I remember that the Rocket 3 manifold was water-formed because of the complexity of the shape. Maybe this is cast for the same reason. Getting a replacement after market could be a problem.

Does Baxter Cycle do any of those S&S 865cc big bore kits in house? I could be convinced to buy an RE if they did...maybe.

Contact Jeremy at Baxtercycle.com They have done this in the past.
