I think that's a cool name, especially if you have heard of the Indian goddess Kali... ruler of death, time, and fate, often associated with sexuality and violence manifested as a strong maternal or sisterly figure. Kali embodies shakti - female energy, creativity and fertility... (which doesn't just mean babies; it encompasses joyful growth, power and abundance). Sounds a lot like Kris, huh?

Yes, "Freedom" is, or was, a furniture store, here in Australia, they had a run of ads like that. The Jim Beam ad is also one of ours, IIRC, it was a tie-in to one of the low brow Bachelor type programs, with a couple of the 'contestants'. One worth finding is the Fisherman's Friend ad with a red outfit and a large fish,.. and one slightly too young performer for that costume,... or the series of John West adverts from the 80's that spurned a nationwide catch phrase that translate in to "He doesn't know". Also, how many offered to eat the apple?
