I feel like if we had more moments between Kirby and Mindy where they showcase their love of horror, it would have made the red herring on Kirby better because I feel like it would have bolstered the “spiraling” behavior that Bailey mentions when he says that Kirby was the killer.

8:00 personally, I think using her in the opening kill wasn’t necessarily wasting her, because of how Iconic the opening kill scenes have become, and how much they have anchored the franchise. It honestly is regarded by many that being the opening kill is a compliment because you are a big part of the movie and how the story progresses. Which is why a lot of the fans, and the filmmakers, wanted such big popular names to be the opening kills because when you think of scream movie, you always think of the opening scene.

I've been binge watching your old videos ever since I found you through your Outlast playthrough and while I usually don't watch review videos and don't really like horror movies and shows that much (although I do love horror/gothic aesthetic), your videos are such a fun watch. Some of our predictions came true. In all fairness, none of us expected Neve Campbell to decline her return for Scream 6. If it wasn't for that insufficient offer that was presented to her, she would have returned. Whenever Scream 7 is announced, I'll be looking forward to your predictions and to see it in theaters.

As much as I don’t think Stu will come back, I do absolutely wanna see it. And I have ideas for how. If you decide to read this whole thing, I would appreciate some feedback. So my thought is the story actually deals with a sudden increase in Ghost Face appearances. Like a cult type thing, but less organized. So the opening scene maybe deals with Sidney (or whoever) at a location dealing with some Ghost Faces along with the person they've hunting. The killers are monologuing, as usual, when Sidney gets a call. Turns out it's another Ghost Face and the two in the room are confused. He tells Sidney to put him on speaker, at which point he begins to taunt the two killers in the room, making them go through trivia questions regarding Sidney's experiences. For every question they get wrong, the lights go out and he goes in and cuts them up, then leaves before the lights come back on. Last question is how many movies or real life stories end with the killers winning. He counts down from 10 and at 2, one says they all die in the end. Silence. The Ghost Face hangs up, then comes in and says correct before killing them. He and Sidney exchange a glance before Ghost Face leaves. Then at some point later down the line, Kirby tells Sidney that she was put on a case involving a recently released prisoner. They don't say who, but she shows Sidney and Sidney is speechless. Later when they're investigating, they enter a house with Kirby, Sidney, and Sam, to see a guy sitting on a couch watching Stab. We don’t see his face. Kirby tells him to get up and put his hands up, so she goes and pats him down. Then lets him drop them and he turns, revealing Stu. And he basically greets Sidney like an old friend, happy to see her and acting like he didn’t try to kill her. Not that he believes he didn’t, but he just doesn’t bring it up. Until suggesting that he maybe feels they're even since he killed her friends and tried to kill her, she killed his best friend, dropped a TV on his head, and got him arrested for 20-something years. But respects her decision to not call it even if she so chooses. When she asks what he's been doing since his release, he says "Judging by the fact you're even here, I think it's safe to say you already know what I've been doing" not even trying to hide that he's been Ghost Facing again. He basically goes on a rant about how he was in a coma for a year or so and when he woke up and found out his story had been made into a movie, he was honored. And found it funny when Sidney was being attacked again. But then the more times it happened, though he liked Stab 2, he eventually got tired of it and even annoyed. Especially the further the franchise strayed from what he created with Billy. When Scream 5's story came around, he was happy to see someone new be targeted, but got pissed again when not only was Sidney dragged back, but they held it at his old house. Then the Manhatten situation happened. Then he was released and got to start putting his life back together. Problem is, he's still bored as shit and really wants to kill people. But he can't because he knows he'd be arrested again. But what he realized was that no one ever gets arrested for killing a Ghost Face. Because it's either in the name of justice or self defense. And clearly, there will be no shortage of them in the near future. So he puts on the costume to hunt Ghost Face killers. Partly to satisfy his bloodlust and partly to let out pent up frustration on would be fans with no originality, creativity, or respect for source material. I would also very much love to see a scene where Stu gets a call in his house from a Ghost Face and nonchalantly taunts them and preps for their arrival, then whoops their ass when they get in. And we could get a more creative kill out of him. I imagine him bashing their head through the glass of a gas fireplace, dropping a bookcase on their back so they can't get up, tossing a glass of alcohol into the fireplace and turning it on, then just watching while drinking. Also, he would absolutely have bought Sidney's book.

Love the Wednesday vibes. 👍 I love Sam and Tara, they are a package deal imo but I'm also a sucker for family bond type stories and the sister dynamic between the two is on point. Mindy and Chad are also great but to me they are more support then story driven, basically lovable pin cushions destined to be Dewy like. Should any of them die in Scream 7? Logic would say yes but I love all of the core 4 so screw it they all survive. Why not, the og 3 made it through 4 movies and both Gale and Sidney are still going after 6 and we need new legacy characters for future movies. I do think they will address the level of damage our characters took in 6 though. I mean chalk it up to extreme luck which is possible. Still I feel that they will comically address how on earth Chad survived. Even Tara at the end is like wtf how? Eeeesh Tara got off easy with only one stab and shot in the shoulder this time by comparison. Who will die then? Cute neighbor boyfriend is toast, I'm sorry he just is. They are going to make us love that guy but he's going down. I also think Sam and Taras mom could bite it, infact it could be a plot point that the new Ghostface is out to wipe out the entire family's of the core 4 and that would mean loseing some of the parents annnnd would put the core 4 on a offensive path rather then constantly defending. Anyway those two loses are just the sorta thing to push the sisters to the brink of darkness especially Sam. Whose got plot armor? They won't kill Tara because for one Jenna Ortega prints money but as far as the story goes that would tip Sam into full villian mode and thats not the direction they are heading with her. Tara is the most important thing to Sam and lorsing her would break everything shes fought to control. I also don't like the idea of killing Tara simply because she survived 5's opening. Granted one could argue that Tara survived that because Richie and Amber wanted her too, but still, girl got stabbed 7 times and her ankle was crushed. She deserves to survive the series just for that. Sam too has the armor since the story now revolves around her and Tara primarily, the defacto final girls of the franchise now. How that plays out and develops who knows but I have a few idres that would make that dynamic really shine. Chad and Mindy are more vulnerable I think but aren't going to die yet, maybe a Scream 8 deal. They really need to flesh out the Chad Tara relationship and if Chad dies in 8 that would be a gut punch.

The closest reference to the Stab franchise would be Gale’s into scene where Sam called her out for not writing a book and either her or Tara made reference to how Gale “couldn’t get the movie rights.” I’d say that’s mostly correct. .75 points

I don't think I made any formal predictions but the number 1 thing I was telling people I wanted was for 6 to be in an urban setting and I got that. I also wanted Ghostface to continue becoming more brutal which I sort of half got because I was expecting that to be attached to a much higher body count (6's body count isn't terrible but it's too padded by randos rather than actual characters.) Like I was expecting Sam, Sidney, and Gale and maybe one of the twins to be the only characters walking away from this one. I really hope they work on the Ghostface reveal next time. How awesome would 6 have been with a Jill level Ghostface? It's the one thing they have yet to nail.

Here are my Scream 6 predictions I made last year: 1. Gale will have a much bigger role (She kinda did I guess) 2. Samara Weaving will be casted but as Gale’s assistant (I was half right) 3. The opening kill will involve Samara’s character and Gale but Gale ends up surviving (I was half right with Samara being in the opening and dying) 4. There will be more than 2 killers. Two of them are working together while another one is working on their own vendetta. The two killers are avenging Amber and Richie by killing the remaining survivors from the last film while the third killer’s motivations and identity are unknown and won’t be revealed til Scream 7 but is a character in 6 (Wow I was so spot on but also way off with this one. I was right about two Ghostface killers working together to avenge Richie and Amber (Jason and Gregg).) 5. Sam and Tara’s mom will be a supporting character (Nope) 6. Hank Loomis and Stu’s sister will be in the movie (Nope) 7. Sam sacrifices herself to save Tara who will be the main lead in Scream 7 (Nope) 8. It will take place outside of Woodsboro (I was right) 9. The social commentary could tackle more on fandom especially how most films nowadays that are divisive or they can talk about how some films are perceived as fan service (Nope) 10. Sidney will survive because she’s Sidney f**king Prescott (She wasn't in the movie but I wasn't wrong)

I think I get their angle in not killing any of the main protagonists, Randy Meeks (core four!) died out in the open after getting separated, they put Mindy Meeks in that position and subverted expectations by having her live, she had someone nearby (who turned out to be the killer, but he was forced to save her because Quinn fucked up) Scream 2 subverted expectations by killing a Meeks, Scream 6 subverted expectations by not killing ANY Meeks Scream 7 needs to be a bloodbath I think Sidney could die tbh, they were cutting corners with 6 to hopefully have 7 be a big expensive finale like 3, allowing more room to give Nev what she deserves since their return will hopefully be higher due to the lower budget of 6 Have Sid and/or Sam die Reintroduce Jennifer (chick who played Gale in Stab in Scream 3) and Dewey’s son with her (idk if this is possible in the timeline but I’m hoping it works, I want Dewey to have a kid, don’t kill him! Maybe kill Jennifer, but honestly I’m down to keep her alive, have Dewey’s kid be like around 8-10, then if they ever do a Scream 8, have Dewey’s kid come back in high school as a core character DONT KILL HIM FOR LONG TIME, maybe make him a killer but he’s genuinely being coerced/blackmailed/threatened with death to do what the killer says (if not him, I imagine ghost face pulling a Jigsaw, have a bomb around someone’s neck and force them to be one of the killers) Anyways, yeah, subvert expectations, have Sam get killed (before she dies I think Tara needs to save her in some way, whether directly through like taking a gunshot or non fatal knife wound, Tara needs to reciprocate Sam’s protecting of her the last two movies, it would make sense to have it be Tara dying protecting Sam, fuck that I like Tara better lol, have Tara take a bullet then Sam takes a knife for Tara or something But yeah, a couple legacy/new core four members need to die, I say keep Chad and Mindy alive, and don’t have Mindy get stabbed in 7 at all lol Bring Stu back, maybe he uses a new or modified mask, maybe he’s partnered up with Sam and Tara’s mom, I was half expecting their mom to show up tied up like Neil Prescott, then I thought, maybe she could be the inverse, Billy and Stu (two teens) were going to frame Neil, maybe now it’s two adults framing one or two teens (Sam and Tara) Idk tho Edit: My personal theory is that Chad and Mindys dad is Joel the cameraman from Scream 2, I think he probably would’ve gone to Randy’s funeral after everything was over, he could meet Ms. Meeks and form a connection, I think that would be cute if the actor is willing to come back

The ONLY thing I got right in my predictions was that Samara Weaving would be the cold open 🤣 I wrote like a whole script in your last video and it was wrongity wrong wrong wrong. You HAVE to kill characters in the next film. Scream(96) was scary because no one was safe. You're taking that away. That being said, I almost don't want to see Patrick Dempsey come back because I don't want him to die and ruin Sydney's happy ending and I feel like he really would. He's not one that needs to go. And Sam as Ghostface which kinda happened but she’s still like the final girl too. Tara v Sam showdown would’ve been cool if Sam went full ghostface but maybe that’s for the next one. Or maybe Tara and Sam go dark and Mindy and Chad have to stop them?? Who knows! Really would’ve liked samara weaving as a film professor ghostface, would’ve been a more interesting motive and reveal than Bailey and a twist on scream 2 instead of a rehash. Plus Sam and that’s two lady ghostface killers. Plus if you wanted a Bailey character that was a mrs.
