💬I’m not one to “fawn” or freak out over celebrities. I always try to remember they are human beings like the rest of us. But there are a few that, for me, are just special and incredibly gifted musically. Dave Grohl is one of those human beings. I am so happy to finally be covering Foo Fighters with these compilations. There are A LOT of great songs for future videos! 💜 EDIT: I didn't forget about Taylor. I have something else planned for him.

I'm the same way. I used to work at a huge, high volume sports bar in Denver and I met LOTS of athletes. I never asked for an autograph or fawned over them. I just introduced myself, shook their hand, and talked to them like they were normal people. I even had drinks with Zakk Wylde once. Hung out with him for a while and talked about sports, music, and Ozzy. He was a trip!! I was starstruck once, though. I got to meet Peter Forsberg and had a few with him and talked hockey and felt like a little schoolboy!!

It's almost disgusting how awesome and talented Dave is! Being the drummer for one of the biggest bands in history just wasn't enough. He also plays guitar and is a great singer. He's good looking. From what I hear he's also a super nice and good person. I mean come on! How much can he expect us to take 🤯🤢 Now that I got that off my chest...I do love the guy and everything he does!!!

People often forget about the super group Them Crooked Vultures that Grohl was also a member of and he also drummed on one of the Queens of the Stone Age albums. He is extremely talented.

The Foo Fighters are special to me too. I was always a rock and metal chick, AC/DC, Van Halen, Kansas, Def Leopard, etc. then it seemed like overnight it was over. Yes, I listened to some grunge, alternative, and pop and it was good, but it still wasn’t “my music”. Foo Fighters was the first modern group that felt like my music wasn’t gone. Love them. I love that everyone is like “David Ghrol was the drummer for Nirvana” which is true. He after he became the lead singer for Foo Fighters, he picked up the sticks once again for the debut video for The Queens of the Stone Age. In fact, he did the drumming for their debut album until they found a strong drummer.

Dave Grohl... he seems like the most genuine guy ever, and I can't think of another who stepped out from behind a cultural force of nature like Kurt Cobain and not only thrived, but became a legend of his own. Also, RIP Taylor Hawkins, who was probably the only guy who could match Grohl in precise intensity on the drums. (That said, Hawkins's son played for Foo Fighters at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert and... watch out for that kid.)
