What did I just hear? I've got a few college degrees in performance music, vocal and instrumental, and I STILL can't answer that! Adam Rupp is the most wonderful freak of nature I've ever had the pleasure of encountering, bless him!

His low register is really showcased here. The width of his range is definitely underappreciated.

Most talented individual you've ever seen?...Same here! (And I've even seen them LIVE!)

It's a big secret but Adam swallowed an orchestra when he was little.
@lorrieriddle22113 жыл бұрын
As a side note, he didn't learn how to beatbox until he was in college with his brother Chris & Chris wanted to start the band. He's at least a 2x world champion beatboxer (voted in by other beatboxers). Not bad for learning how later in life than most beatboxers get started!
@tarjaikola2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, just saw your comment.. Adam is not a world champion as he has never competed internationally (nor nationally). He has said he is not interested in competed, but appreciates musicianship more.

Finally! A reaction that #1 actually understands what talent it takes for Adam to do what he does #2 actually gives good reactions during the video! I have been watching lots of reaction videos this week (pandemic closed the school I teach in, so I have time right now to do so). You take the time to explain WHY you like what you see and hear. Thank you! I just subscribed because of this reaction!

I think you left some grey matter on the wall behind you. Nothing like having your mind blown. I'm soooooo glad to see you reacting to this video. You deserve a treat this golden.

Good reaction. That whole band is extremely talented and does a lot worth listening too even if the song isn’t really in your genre. Off the top of my head, Adam does a great harmonica in man of constant sorrow. And one of their other guys, Tim foust, has blown speakers holding a low note.

Dave you had a smile from beginning to finish...I know you liked this video....I have seen them twice in concert & it's just amazing to see it in person, and to have your chest rattled byTim Foust's bass...you feel it in your body he hits those lownotes !!

I’m so glad you reacted to this. I’ve recommended this to several reactors who professed an amazement with his beat boxing skills, and you’re the first one I’ve heard take the time to do it. When you look at your reaction, look at the smile on your face. Priceless.

AND he has only gotten better - believe it our not. He does a Michael Jackson thing where he even dances like MJ. See if you can find a more recent performance. You will be blown away!!

Re endurance... Just think, their concerts are typically 90 min long with a 10-15 min intermission. He bbxs the entire show. The only song he sits out is the one after his solo!! Crazy!!

Adam used to play drums in High school that’s why he’s really good.

Another fun one to watch is when they performed "I'm Alright" from Caddyshack on the Sing off against The Filharmonic. It was a well put together performance between 2 groups.

This is an older video. He's added a lot of tools to his tool box over the years. If you thought he was good in this one, the newer one will leave you speechless. There's a reason he holds two title of Best Beat Boxer Of The World Titles.

The fondly refer to him as "The Freak Of Nature" because there isn't many sounds he can't replicate. He is a 2x world champion..best of the best of the best you might say :) Sometimes I wonder if he cried when he was born or simply dropped a sweet lil beat 😂But he is certainly one of the most talented at this in the world. I don't know ..have you seen him dust off the Philharmonic beatboxer on the Sing Off competition in "I'm All Right"? If not...he sorta puts the PH beatboxer in his place..lovingly..but Hard!
@tarjaikola2 жыл бұрын
Just saw your comment.. Sorry but no. He has never competed in Beatbox Championships nor does he ever have a desire or need to. He has won a couple of harmony sweepstakes best vocal percussionist awards back in the day (one was honorary just for him) and a couple best overall beatboxer awards from the a cappella world in the US.
