The crazier the music, the crazier the musician has to be to see it through. Thats true dedication ❤

really good attempt dude, this genre has been a part of my life since I was a kid and it takes a lot to really understand it and especially misunderstand it - theres many directions you can take with it that have influences from jungle, gabber, techno, happy hardcore etc, it can be emotional, angry, goofy and dumb, and a big component is the liberal use of uncleared samples which is something I deal in personally as an artform while the music and sound itself is important, u gotta realise how deep rooted and conmected breakcore is when it comes to the underground rave scene across the world, you dont have to be a breakcore producer to be part of the scene and know people personally, and the scene itself can be very skeptical of stuff like this video as it can take years of socialising and engaging with everyone to truly get it outside of a youtuber's passing curiosity of the genre off the top of my head, if you listen to labels like suck puck, defunct, long live the animals, reactionary, off me nut, retrac, even a lot of planet mu releases represent a diverse but definitive definition of breakcore - I would personally recommend regent cid as his style balances between jungle and breakcore with heavy empthasis on sampling, and if you wanna hear breakcore pushed to its limit, I would check out reizoko cj and the reizokore movement - see also, foxdye, shitmat, cardopusher, sickboy just to name a FEW cos theres a lot of people doing a lot of different stuff for the past 30 years of breakcore again man, this is a really great attempt and I respect it, but Id love to see you come back with a deeper understanding and attempt something like mashcore, ravecore, some metal influenced stuff, 7/4 time sig breakcore, theres so much you can do with it lol

addendum, this sounds great, I'm not trying to tear it down like "nope this isn't it" it is, this is breakcore what you've produced and you did a good job, my point is just that there's many elements you could have tried like using gabber kicks and rave stabs, and weird ways to process breaks and switching between different break samples on the fly etc etc etc etc but this is what makes the genre so complicated and brain hurty after a while

3:21 I personally prefer to chop the sample for my drum breaks. It lets me see the waveform too, which makes it easier for me.

You did a great job, the breakcore "crowd" is very devided, so even though you can learn a lot from listening to how different people make breakcore, you should keep doing what feels right to you.

How to make breakcore: 1. Pick a sample and chop it. 2. Chop the amen break and chop it. Mishmash it in such a way that the listeners ears start to bleed. 3. Turn the loop on and off. . . . . . . . Ezpz breakcore
