Hey: I don’t have a dehydrator and don’t really intend to purchase one. Alternative? I know dehydrating in an oven is possible but is it as effective and is the end result (the fAke bacon) the same?
It seems like for any vegan meat, you start with a vegetable that doesn't have a strong flavor but a strong texture that resembles the meat you're trying to replicate, and then adding the flavors by using sauces, spices, etc... That bacon looks amazing, I wouldn't care if they served that in restaurants instead of real bacon, and I love bacon.

question...are you implying that only vegans would like this? cause I eat meat all the time. I cant have a dish without meat. But that doesnt magically make me having NEVER tried any vegetables lol.ike, its part of a balanced diet. or are you implying meat eaters look at channels like this with disgust just because its aimed at vegans? I hate the message of "be vegan or you're a disgrace of a human" but..food is food meat eaters who love cooking have been doing stuff like this forever. sauteeing vegetables and such like mushrooms enhances steaks a d whatever else we eat.

I never once spewed hate towards those who choose to not eat meat. just because you want to come back around to say something yo me, doesnt mean its necessary to lie on me. that's a tactic of hate itself. um the meat eater and therefore you have to try to make me look like the bad person on whatever I say just because you disagree or it doesn't line up properly with your views. I just want to say thank you so much for what you do. I was born with a metabolic disorder called PKU which restricts me from eating any dairy, meat, eggs, and soy because my body is incapable of breaking down a certian amino acid in protien, therefore i am limited to 7g of protien a day. Due to this my options are limited even when it comes to vegan-based diets/alternatives. Recipes such as this help me so much to recreate delicious foods I wish I could eat but can't. Yussss I knew dehydrating somethings was the way to go. Was going to experiment with this method by testing out jackfruit and king oyster mushroom to see if I can make a vegan "vaca frita".

I get these mushrooms from the Asian mart and they’re super cheap too! Can’t wait to try this.

It’s great but I even prefer their other seasonings. The ‚everthing‘ seasoning is amazing, as ist the garlic one. The company is called Deliciou by the way.
