I visited Kyiv for a month in June. It was sad to see the elderly refugees who cannot afford groceries and other necessities. Many cannot even afford to feed their dogs. I tried to help them but ran out of money in a month and had to go back to work in the US. I hope this improves soon. The most vulnerable suffer the most during war.

Dear god, I really feel for the youngest Ukrainian generation. 3 years of a pandemic is bad enough, this senseless war adds insult to injury. You parents have my utmost sympathy and respect. EDIT: it seems essential that western aid packages include lumber, steel, cement, and other construction materials asap. It will be too late come October.

Aside from areas that only need minimal repairs (like fixing broken windows) and that still have functioning utilities and serviceable infrastructure, there’s not a whole lot that can or even should be done unfortunately, at least not until there is at a minimum some sort of outcome or pause in this war. Due to the rampant and indiscriminate shelling, bombing, and deliberate, targeted destruction of their cities by the 4th reich (and the fact that this remains so as of this time) means that even ad-hoc repairs either in areas that could or are certain to receive further aggression, or in areas that have been so damaged that there simply isn’t any infrastructure to work with (and thus requiring total bulldozing and rebuilding from the very start all over again) shouldn’t even be a consideration at this time... The civilized world (especially in Europe) really needs to put on their big boy pants and start getting to work in returning our societies back into the good, neighbourly communities that go out of their way in lending as much of a helping hand as they possibly can all throughout these troubling times (and forever forward), and get back to what we used to be during the lives of most of our grandparents, and how they were strong, independent, thinking people who solved problems and worked with what they had, and made due with the same. We are in for some rough times these next few years, regardless of the outcome of this abomination of humanity happening in Ukraine, and people need to wake up to this fact/reality and prepare themselves for it...

Children are always the innocent victims of war. But did anyone in Ukraine protest the government selling out to the CIA, NATO, WEF, big pharmaceutical companies or whoever set up the laboratories? Did anyone protest the puppet comedian president? Did anyone protest the bombing of the Donbas for 8 years? Children are killed there by Ukrainian forces. The reason I ask is because if they were all okay with all that, who do you believe is actually to blame for the war…? Peace

Having open, honest, and REAL discussions about life in Ukraine and how those realities have been changing is a very important component to the conversation... If you’re up for it, I’d continue with this pattern and explain more of what has changed, and the additional difficulties that are part of people’s lives now as a result of this unjust, illegal, and disgusting invasion!! Dear Olga, yes I can verify that you are describing the situation exactly as it is. I was there during the months of May through July, mostly in the areas of CHERKASY and Dnipro. And it is a dramatic change from my visits from previous years. I have even written to my state senator from Texas about the situation. And his reply from his staff quoted me his voting record for support of the Ukraine in military items and in humanitarian Aid. And also my Church Fellowship in your country is stepping up benevolent support.

My Good Friend Anna (Аня), is a police officer for the city of Kryvyo Rih, and has told me how the sirens alarm very much, no shipments of products for Markets (or empty shelves), no food, no gas, no electricity in many outer parts (suburbs) of the city. They cook outside, stay near shelters, and try to grow gardens for food,,,and trying to find Natural Food from the forests, rivers, and other Nature Parks. She has both a handicap mother AND a daughter with medical heart problems (her other daught is normal), and 2 dogs to try to take care of, AND working 10-12 hour days! 😱😔 Her brother is also handicapped, but he helps refugees and transports of humanitarian aid instead of fighting the Russian Bastards. Anna helps with making sure people get to safety during air raids, security for any Supervisor or Government Official, AND the 'normal' police work (stop crime, make arrests, paperwork, training to fight the enemy, etc). No ambulance service if her family (or someone else), no car, no banks, no schools, no churches. 😔😔 She wants to leave to save her family, but is Obligated by Law to stay because of War Regulations,,,because I offered to be her Sponsor here in America, Saint Louis. Keep Praying for Peace, and as always,,,СЛАВА УКРАІІНІ! 💙💛🇺🇦🔱

The day I learned to walk, it was drilled into me that I should not open gates not belonging to the family; I should not kick littered tin cans or open discarded match boxes because it could be booby trapped with high explosives. That was a comparatively very small scale conflict I grew up in but this situation in Ukraine is on a whole other level. No child should have to face this, so sorry for your people.

The answer to that is complex. There is no average Russian just like there is no average Brit or American. But parts of the picture: 1. Some ‘inherently believe’ in the need for and support the war with a passion. 2. Some believe and support because their heads are filled, with unadulterated, propaganda. 3. Some do not know what to believe - ie confused. 4. Some do not want to know and adopt the ostrich position. 5. Some are horrified by this action. 6. Some are horrified and oppose Putin. 7. Some are horrified and have left Russia But, there is no reliable way of reliably determining the proportions of the above. However 20 years of increasing oppression in Russia, culminating in the recent changes in law following the illegal invasion has made the concept of opposition or demonstrations impossible.

Olga, Thank you for your video and yes I also think it is important for all to know the real realities of what is going on and Ukraine needs and will need all the help they can receive and for years to come ongoing and continuslly it is important and very much needed now, even before but always and forever to never quite with helping Ukraine. Much action is needed and not just kind words are the reality of what Ukraine does need. Before now and forever after has to be done with action not talk. So from me Ukraine will at least have my action to do what I can to help and more, as i can not really speak for others on what they are or will do.I will also like to say this also means you too Olga, as all isn't always easy. Many misconceptions about the kind of actual hard work you do here for us and the world, and also taking on your own life as well. This is the real heart and soul of every Ukrainian and even in my own city it is this way Always hard work, no complaints, kind sincere in every way, while all in all no matter what is going on lots of unconditional love for all the world shows with out a blink of an eye all the time. After waiting several months, I finally heard from my friend, who moved from Mariupol, to Moscow. She moved there with her two daughters, because she was worried about Nazis, and didn't trust the Ukrainian government. She told me about a family from there, that we are friends with. And there is a young woman, and her younger brother, who escaped to Ireland. Then there rest, moved to western Ukraine. So it is a big relief. But then, the fighters in Avostal, who fought to the end, and were captured, many ended up being killed, while in captivity. Supposedly, accidentally killed my Ukrainian bombing the prison ! So this is the Russian army, and why it is important, to stop them. Not only so they stop doing things like that, but other countries like them, and that they support. Also, the reason they want Ukraine so much, is because it is such a great country, thieves want valuable things.

That would allow us to withdraw money for the obvious things like food, accommodation, and transportation. What would be a bank name with english speaking staff, and would there be any obstacle from just walking into the bank and making an account with funds available for us to withdraw in a few days? Our immediate goal would be to rent a nice 2 or 3 bedroom home near the business district or upscale residential neighborhood. Once we are settled, we can do the rest. It is the first 10 days we have concern.

Great insights Olga, I wish best of luck to you all and hope the war ends soon. I have a quick question though? Is any air travel options available to travel out of Ukraine ?

Hi Olga. I'm a college teacher here in the UK. Do you know if there is any outlet for us to help online in anyway or if your government has created any sort of portal for this. For example creating resources for kids to access via KZbin. My heart hurts thinking about the stress parents will be facing and the social loss students will have from all of this.

Hey Olga, if that problem was going on in American schools, they would simple give each student a Stinger anti-aircraft missile, to fire at the in-coming Russian cruise missiles! Problem solved!

Timely video. I was wondering about the ordering, purchase and delivery of products to stores. Many complications and risks. 7 months and its still hard to believe that Russia would do this. Hopefully someone will remove the dwarf poisoner soon. The more orcs Ukraine kills the fewer will be able to come back later, and the fewer will give birth to little orcs.

Assume you are still in old blighty. Your youngster speaks English well and should have no problems going to school here. I hope your vid puts our woes into perspective at least for some. Here, there is some very old ones who understand what your country is going through. You need to get together with other Ukrainians in the UK and try and apply more pressure on the British government to do more. I believe the West could end the war in weeks, if it really tried. I think many Russians, secretly at least, would be grateful too.

Here in the US we have official inflation rate of 9% but in reality it’s well over 20% here but government changed the way they calculate it to make it appear lower, and in some case it’s 50-100%.

18% is not that bad, most countries in the EU have almost the same and they don't have war. Argentina and Turkey have 70-80% and they're completely peaceful (only shitty governments)
