I love that you put music on at dinner! We eat dinner together every night now that our kids are older (age 4, 5, 8, 8, and 13!) but I love the idea of lighting a candle or two and putting music on! Maybe it’ll be less talking and more eating if there’s a better ambiance! Lol 😂 worth a try!! 💕

You're such a good mommy. My husband doesn't like shredded chicken either 🙄🙄🙄. So with us, I usually work until 8 Monday thru Thursday. My husband cooks while I'm at work but my son is already down for bed before I get home. My husband and I eat dinner when I get home then we go to bed lol. Can't really stay up to watch TV because he gets up super early for work. But we are very much on a routine and it works. Since my son goes to bed so early he usually eats dinner early , around 5. On the weekends it's basically whatever, especially right now with quarantine. A lot of takeout lol

Okay but that chair is the perfect size for Olive and it looks wicked comfy so... I don’t blame her....whenever we have family dinners with extended family and it’s our turn to host, I go all out with a theme and also play music for whatever the overall food theme is. It makes it extra festive lol.

haha! Omg I love that. I think it's the way to do it. We visit Maine every few summers with my extended family and each night it's one family's job to cook. We all compete on who can out do the other with "showmanship" aha. Music, decor, etc. It's fun!

You've got a good looking family! I loved seeing your family's nightly routine. Michael is not alone, I too would be uncomfortable on camera. I love A Crime to Remember! I love any show that is about solving crimes and catching the bad guy. Do you have cable or the dish? A Crime to Remember is free on IDGo if you have a subscription with a cable/dish/fiber company. If you don't, I have a kind of cheat for you. If any of your family or friends has a cable/dish subscription, and if they don't mind, you can use their login info on any of the channels that have an online app. My family would use our login for access to all of the movie channels so they didn't have to pay for a higher cable package. Hi Callie when does Miles get his nap? My 3 year old naps 2 to 5 which causes him to stay awake until 12am....oh We are extremely stressed about this. Please help.

Set a bed time, make a routine, and put them down for bed. They may need to wait it out in bed alone for an hour or two but eventually they will fall asleep. If you allow them, they will stay up. Also for example if you have bed time at 8, id recommend naps starting at 12. 2 seems late
