Let's all stand by for the apologists to get into the act. You'll know them when they start to say things like: "But what about when Obama did..." or "Clinton was impeached..." etc... Facts are facts... Something intentionally reported as true that's simply not true is "fake news" - the so called "liberal media" isn't a real thing and the press in general usually reports "true" things. That's kinda their job... For fake news you'll have to listen to our new President, I'll give you an example: The crowd at President Trump's inaugural was not the largest ever, it wasn't even "average," it was only a few hundred thousand. That's as accurate an estimate as can be made based on analyzing the pictures of the event. Criticism of that reporting as being "fake news" is a tactic to de-legitimize the press. Every factual thing that Maher said was true. Therefore: not fake

Facts that you don't like or are inconvenient to whatever horseshit narrative you're trying to sell doesn't make them any less factual. The only fake news is coming from Fox, which, by the way, purposefully classifies itself with the FCC as an Entertainment group, NOT as a News organization, so they can get away with peddling their crap with absolutely ZERO accountability to the actual truth. With exception to Shepard Smith, all the Fox talking heads are just that; talking heads provided with a partisan script to try to sell the desired narrative, with no regard for what is true. They are not journalists, and they sure as hell are not interested in the actual truth. Yes, journalists do occasionally get something wrong. But when they do, they acknowledge the error, retract it, and apologize. When was the last time Fox, or the orange shitpile, or ANY of his enablers and supporters ever done that? Never!
