Great video again guys. I've been sharing your videos with my dad who lives in Australia he thinks you guys are fantastic at what you do. He was and still does a bit of panel beating & paint spraying at the grand old age of 81. He lived in the uk up till the mid 90'S & was always in demand. I remember him repairing an old e-type jag full respray in the garage at home must be round about 1979 great memories the smell the workshop never leaves you. (I'm now 52) He's looking forward to seeing your new jig in action..👍

Hi Rob and Chris, lovely prep work on the Audi, Chris is a very skilled guy on the panels etc. The new equipment seems to be a game changer, think will be worth every penny. Good shout on the alloy wheel colour change BTW, and what great service from that company eh.! I did think that A4 would be spiteful on the parts availability and prices...ouch.!! Alex.

I cannot but help admire Chris's panel beating skills - I know that if I attempted it the end result would be the Rover in "Father Ted"... good to see the new jig getting christened too.

I am really pleased for you guys sorting out your garage and lock up, it is looking fantastic. The new ramp is as you have said a game changer. I hope you will get it installed within the floor and save even more space not needing those addition ramps. Having 2 different ramps will help your productivity no end, not that you need to improve as you guys are super efficient and work so well together it is a joy to watch.

The early black edition wheels circa 2009/2010 were in a type of gun metal grey from manufacture shortly to be phased out & replaced with the rotary 5 spoke wheel in grey., I'm not sure if they were this dark of a grey from factory but worth checking to make this OEM original. I know this because I had a new black edition with the rotary alloys that replaced these wheels. People like myself who specifically want the black edition would be put off by silver although I get they do make a car pop but in this case I think it would be big mistake to deviate from original spec's.

First let me say the new Auto Bench looks to be just the thing you always needed. This car has been a quick turnaround even though the filler was a bit tricky. Amazing how our fingers can gauge the finish so well done to Chris for his expert work once again. I think you made the right call on those wheels as well Rob. The news on the other Audi is not unexpected but we will wait and see. As I said in the comments on that car, weigh up the options before you get stuck in. Thanks for another great video Rob and Chris, hope you have a good weekend. 👍👍

Hi guys,ive gotta say and this isnt me being negative its just my opinion but when you said you dont like the wheels and will do them silver its not going to be for you though so shouldn't really think like that and if they were the original colour id leave it the same but having said that im sure it will look great once finished and please no hate for me having that opinion😬have a great weekend guys🙂👍

Hate to say it - wheels should have stayed original. If I was the new owner it would bother me that the black edition bits had been purposely un-done. That being said, currently you own the car and its ultimately your choice!

Another Audi, but what a difference, this one was so much more satisfying with excellent progress. I agree with the wheel treatment, for me that is so much better. The refurbished vehicle is going to be excellently improved. Panel beating is an art that should never be lost, but you can either learn how it works or go off and become a hairdresser or anything else. Chris has the skill and the feeling, well done.
@barbaraneville5036 Жыл бұрын
I think the ability to move it up and down helped Chris out on this one. He does make it look so easy though, But that is years of experience in Tin bashing showing through 🙂 Chris must be well happy with the new equipment. With the other Audi sometimes they are just too far gone to make it economical to repair
@gonecywers Жыл бұрын
Excellent project and work done on this car, Chris! I agree the wheels will look much better in silver on this vehicle. Thanks again for another entertaining video. By the way, it's too bad about the A4, but it did look like a bit of a money pit for parts.

I could watch Chris PB those cars all day long. It's artistry the way he gets them back looking mint, just as you do Rob getting them decon'd. and mopped to look showroom again. The alley's (😝) look decent. I first thought perhaps Shadow Chrome to keep it as stock as possible seeing as it's the Black Edition but I found a BE in Grey on the Audi TT Forum and chrome look much much nicer against that anthracite grey paint, so really good shout there. A good detail to make that paint pop again and that'll make a nice little earner I'm sure All the best 👍
