I literally never take the leafy parts out of the celery; it adds so much flavor and nutrition to whatever I'm cooking.

I stopped snacking late at night and stopped eating because the clock said so, also began to be more cognizant of my hunger/fullness signals but without going hungry, I increased my water intake. Results? I'm finally losing 1-2 lbs a week. so glad I listened to you!

Explosion! Hey Emmie…next time you make the chili (or anything with celery) try leaving those little leaves in. Chop them up like any other herb. They’re fantastic for flavor! I always use the leafy greens from celery in soups, stews and my chili, and yes..I also put celery in chili. That’s where it belongs! ;)

Thanks for sharing this video and it's always good to see videos from beautiful Emmie. Sorry to everyone who is struggling during these difficult times especially those in Ukraine ( I didn't use the word in the other comments and Emmie also mentioned it in the video because I think it is being insensitive and not appropriate because of the situation in Ukraine). Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Emmie.

Explosion 💥 Yes kept the celery leaves in always as the others have said. Have you ever tried fire roasted tomatoes?? Game changer for flavor… also blank garlic, good on its own or added to recipes. Yes a little $$… I think it’s worth it, I got a big jar at Costco (sorry can’t remember what it cost) look up the nutritional facts, it’s a good one. I’d do a backed potato with the chili on top, but that’s me. It looks great… I love to cook, farmers markets are my vacation dream. I go to them wherever I’m traveling. 🎉

I used to throw scraps away, too, then I started a compost pile on the side of my yard and garden. I’m still figuring out the how-to of it all, but thinking of these beautiful nutrients disintegrating into a mush in a plastic bag started getting to me. I’m not trying to give you a guilty complex or anything (cuz I did the same thing!)...just offering an option of what to do with scraps 💚🌱 (Explosion!)

Why are so many people going Keto and eating so much meat? They're cutting out almost everything you're suggesting is good to eat. I prefer not to eat meat for ethical reasons, so plant-based makes more sense to me. I cook for my daughter, her husband, and their two children. The children want to eat meat....they are eight and six...what can I do to get them more plant-based? We use some meat substitutes by the Beyond brand, but they can be costly and not always available where I live.
