Thank you. I've been a Whoop user for about 4 years and thought I knew what I was doing. Great info. Very enlightening and informative.

This is my problem with whoop. Yes it sounds so good at measuring ur body but there are soooo many variables that makes ur score what it is. So unless u are logging every thing in ur life you don't really know how to improve your numbers. For example like she said you wake up feeling great but your recovery is low. Or you get great sleep but ur score is low. So how does a user actually know why my score was low to fix it. Being a user for 2 weeks now my numbers are so all over and inconsistent. One day I feel I should have good looking scores there not. Another day I feel bad the score doesn't correlate. So how do you exactly know what to adjust is my problem.

After several weeks you’ll get more specifics. It very much matters if you use the journal or not.

Ok so I'm still looking for someone to answer this question...I work and workout 5 days a week my recovery is always between 55-65% (yellow) and I feel energized most of the days. On my days off I'm on the "green" BUT it's when I feel the most tired, irritated sometimes stressed out that I don't take advantage of those days to take my strain at a higher level. Now why is that??

I’ve been struggling. I’ve been eating well, exercising well (not over training), trying to nap ect and my recovery is still yellow. I am lost on this. Kinda frustrating.

Hi there, I’ve got a question as well. I didn’t train much in the last two weeks as I had a very heavy workload. On Sunday I went all out. My day strain was 18.3 having performed various workouts like weight lifting and running. Normally my recovery ranges from 50-85 on days I have only been working without workout. However today I’m extremely sore but my recovery score is 95%? I can’t even move properly. How does this make sense?

The recovery is measured through autonomic nervous system, along with a focus on cardiovascular recovery. The strain measurement is specific to cardiovascular strain vs muscular strain.
