Thanks for your comparison and the extra effort to go outside... if you read on red wing homepage, the 87519 is just to use all the miss colored leather from the 875 production. by the way, I think the speed hooks are a real advantage as I already undo these part of the lacing to get them off.

Goodto know about the moc seperation, I have this on 2 of boots, although I use them on the motorcycle.

I have had the 87519 for about 10 days and they are very comfortable, I love them. Thanks to you CJ I have to go to these weekly meetings. I start speaking the same words every week " hello my name is Rich and I'm a Red Wing addict". Hehehehe... I just bought a basically brand new 9875 Irish Setter on eBay to add to my collection !!! I am trying to get the 9874 but so far no luck!

8131 style, like the speed hooks, so much comfort, love them on my Iron Rangers. My favorites are still the rough and tough Moc Toes, the last is a bit wider, and with my future Vibram Sierra soles they are ready for the forest.

Those 214 are soooo beautiful, like really stunning. I think the 875 are overrated, i bought the 10875 (work version) but i ended up customizing them (lug sole, speed hooks, dyed black). All the leather is top quality but the sole is Very important to a boot lover. nothing worse to having very expensive foot wear and looking foolish in the snow. Last winter i seen so many hipsters with there designer boots falling(mostly in Chelsea boots or docs). cause they invested in leather and not the sole. Thats why i love thoses 214 so much it has everything a boot need to really be an all purpose boot.

Nice looking boots. Are the crepe soles comfortable? I ordered a pair of 9111 and 8181 last night without knowing what the sole felt like. I prefer the feel of the nitrile cork, but really like the way my 8083’s look and feel after being resoled with the roccia sole. Keep up the great videos. They’re appreciated.

This is my first Limited boot. I just got my 87519. Love the color. My right boot was the only boot that had the Red Wing stamped on the side. Is that normal?

I’d like to know about the 214’s! Where the hell you get those? Also, if you would, CJ, your videos are great, information and details are right on. The only thing if it’s possible, how about letting us know where it is that you purchase certain boots...like some of the exclusives you have. Trying to find em in Chicago can be a little challenging and you know it! ✊🏽

there are other differences besides color: speed hooks, welt, embossed leather. BUT, if you are too worried go with another color.

2 coats should do the job. One coat...let them dry completely then add the second
