I am an old physiotherapist in Australia. This is a great collation. Most are excellent compound movements for muscles that atrophy with Western llfestyle (lots of slumpy sitting).
@Bagsy848 жыл бұрын
I think crawling exercises should be considered as nescessary as pushups pullups situps and squats, since they work muscles that we rarely use. when we were babies we gained large strength gains from crawling exercises. and that is how we built up the foundational stability muscles to be able to go upgright later on.
@redefiningstrengthOC8 жыл бұрын
Great points! It definitely is an essential contralateral movement to include and great to build functional core strength :-)

Another outstanding video presentation, Cori! As a 64 year young woman I know that incorporating even just a few of these crawls will greatly enhance my physical mobility, strength and endurance along with stimulating more neural pathways/brain function. A great addition to my primal movement workouts. Thank you, Cori! 👍😊

Did all these crawling exercises yesterday, 2 sets of each across 35 minutes and it was freaking awesome - as a 50 year old I recommend them big time. It’s the variation to the normal run of the mill Calisthenics that makes them so appealing, but it’s definitely hard work. The looks on the faces of the other members was priceless 😁 Another winner Cori 👍🏻

Cori, your collection of crawling patterns is splendid. Sometimes I am practicing some pattern with my patients. Some love it, some just sweat like hell. I love doing it myself. I hope you do not mind putting this video on my blog. At the moment I am writing about crawling and this video would underpin the text and give the readers some nice patterns for self practicing. The blog is about Feldenkrais.
