This episode was beyond surreal for me. I recognized a rock outcropping in one of the clips from "Alien Seed" as being only a few miles from my house. Checked on IMDB and sure enough, it was filmed in Colorado Springs. I found the whole movie on KZbin, and watched it for familiar locations and spotted dozens, including a building I used to work in. Then I got to the credits and saw someone named "Winter Monk" and I just about shat my teeth. Winter Monk used to be the online moniker of someone I've known for 25 years. He's like an uncle to me. Someone who's originally from Colorado Springs, and who was an actor and model in the late eighties. I called him up and sure enough, he's the dude with the Uzi around an hour and thirteen minutes into the movie. Funny enough, turns out he's also in Robo-C.H.I.C. AND Elves!

+ProgHead777 That's a bit rough, though. Not knowing a word or two doesn't seem like a good reason for hating them. Some people have different strengths, and sharing that knowledge helps. Hating people because you think they're dumb seems a bit self-centered.

Well, I was born in 1984 and I also didn't know who he was. I did see the Batman series as a kid though, but I don't know the actor's names cause fuck them.

"Our audience was born in 1999." Joke's on you, I was born in 1998. EDIT: I wrote this comment back in 2015 when I was 16/17 and it's now 2022 and I'm 23 and people still reply to this every now and then. Time's fucked up, man.

For a hilarious review and "translation" of the song's lyrics, check out spoony's review of Yor. It's a classic! P.S. Big fan of your channel. Keep up the awesome work, and cheers from Quebec :)

I saw Yor was in the list and watching was inevitable. SpooneyOne's 'review' of Yor is legend already, there can never be too much Yor. After all, he's the man. Also love how Jay hear's 'Ion firing orbs' and immediately thinks of boobs instead of eyes. Actually, totally unsure whether or not he's aware and making a sweet deadpan joke. Curses!

Always a laugh with you guys. I love all of your material.. Maybe a theme of Mystery Science Theater 3000 movies next time? I must vote for Space Odyssey.

I saw Yor in the theater when I was 10. I don’t remember any of the sci-fi elements. I really only remember him running around on rocky soil in a loincloth. I might have fallen asleep.

You wanna talk about a hodge podge of ideas watch Thundarr the barbarian. It literally is conan, meets star wars, meets he-man, meets scooby doo. Its the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and it gives me the hope to struggle on when times are dark.
