I'm laid up for 3 months with a broken leg. I don't think I'll ever ride in textile pants again without armour. Needing help to do everything sucks but having plates and screws in my leg like Michael Doohan is kind of cool.....

Damn, what happened? I'm almost 2 years since my crash with another motorcycle cutting deep into his apex. I'm back on a motorcycle and have been looking around at pando moto pants is how I got here. I had textile pants and dainese in boots. Torn shoulders, major bruisings, and a fractured lower tib. *knock on wood* for us all

That's alot of pockets. The colour alone is fine to me but just doesn't gel so well with the black, also I think your forgetting that you could probably fit a collection of swiss army knives and still have place for a wallet or flare gun. Why would you need a flare gun who knows

I mean... You do you, man. I went down in a parking lot doing 20mph trying to work on cornering skills and I'm glad I had my leather on. The amount of rash on the left side of the suit was insane for such a minor crash, and the two halves being zipped together saved the jacket from lifting and exposing my lower back. The "only riding 9 minutes to the office" argument / attitude when you talk about the gloves is a very poor one, in my opinion. Statistically, most crashes happen in the first five minutes of a ride. Dress for the slide. ATGATT.

Totally agree with you. Im working in a store for riding gear and parts and i am so sick of hearing stuff like that. Especially people saying that its only a scooter so they only need an open face and thats it. If they are aware of the risks its fine for me but most arent. At least you get alot of them to wear gloves by telling them theres no toilet visits for themselves for a month if they happen to crash

@@LuigiSR50 It really astonishes me, honestly... I mean, I was guilty of it once too. When I started out, I was wearing an Icon jacket, Bull-It motorcycle jeans, Fly motorcycle shoes and A* short gloves... I decided I wanted to go to the track, so I bought a full two-piece leather kit, crashed at the track, crashed a week later in a parking lot, and now I wear my leather everywhere. 5 miles or 500 miles; it doesn't matter. I wear my leather. Sure, it's expensive. So are hospital bills. Sure, it gets hot and uncomfortable in the summer. Not as uncomfortable as having your flesh torn off. Yes, you might look weird to some people compared to wearing jeans and what not. Who cares? Protection is what matters. Riding is dangerous, and to me, it doesn't make sense to NOT wear the best possible gear you can get. The distance you're going matters not; accidents can, and do happen.
