Redwing Rio Flex Style 4469 3 month review

Lace up 8" tall, steel safety toe, anti slip sole, waterproof work boot...
8 outta 10 on comfort. On par with Thorogood boots I've had in the past...

I have these boots and like them. However the leather is a soft almost calf skin leather. Time still to tell the life of this boot thanks for the review and video.

I’m a laborer at a municipality. I do everything from working on the trash truck to landscaping and everything else in between. I’ve been wearing Red Wings 606’s with the Super Sole. Very comfortable once broken in. My feet don’t hurt at all. The problem is the Super Sole. After about 4 months it’s starting to wear to the point where it’s going to need a resole. I’m assuming it’s because I’m on concrete and asphalt mostly. I don’t mind paying $235 but after about 4 months I’m not too happy about the wear on the Super Sole but they are soooo comfy that I don’t even want to take them off. I know Red Wing has boots with other more tough soles but then you’re sacrificing comfort. So I’m stuck.

I have these and they’re probably the most comfortable boot I’ve bought even more comfortable than some of my shoes

If you like this boot your should try the irish setter Marshall lace up steel toe and waterproof the best boots I bought I use them for landscaping

I do. Unfortunately I neglected them so much they're stiff as hell! I need to get them reconditioned and back to where I can wear them again! I've been busy so no time to get them back into shape myself just yet...hopefully soon though!👍

I’d really like to get a pair of Builder Pro’s and don’t mind spending the money. But I’m nervous about the sizing process. I don’t want to spend $550 on a pair of boots that potentially might not be sized well.

Can you verify the style number. I searched Redwing style 4469 and it brings up a 10 inch insulated boot

Sure thing...I double checked on Redwing's website and it says style 4469. Typed in "4469" in Redwings website search box and it only pulled up this Rio Flex boot. I also Google searched "Redwing 4469" and it shows this boot too. Lastly it has the stock # 4469 on the inside of the tongue of the boot. Let me know if this helps or what else you find out...I'll make an adjustment to the video if needed...want to be as accurate as possible. Thank You

The test pair of JK boots that they sent for me to try didn't touch, but were pretty close. Talked to them about that before placing my order. They made that adjustment on my order and the final boots arrived with plenty of spacing!
