Hi Jose, I only recently started watching and following your channel. I started looking for a printer after getting rid of my old Canon all-in-one but didn't want to spend constantly on cartridges. I was eyeing the Epson EcoTank line, but none did 13x19 except the ET-16500, but at $700. So then I looked at the Epson XP-15000 but those have single use chips only, but was willing to compromise.

Thank you for very informative video. 1 question I have is after I flushed and cleaned the OEM Yellow cartridge and filled it with PC color. Do I have to flush the the cartridge every time it runs low before refilling it with the PC color? Or is it just the first time In order to get rid of OEM color?

Given I've been using OEM for over a year I've got several full sets of empty carts. I might try cleaning them out and modifying them just in case I ever decide to try refilling 😋

@jose Rodriguez, Do I need to wash/clean the printer head before I use Non-OEM? I have seen your few other videos where you have discovered the Gello effect for Yellow Color. I want to switch to PC (Non-OEM) ink so want to take precautions.

First, I would like to say thank you for your very helpful videos. I refilled all my Pixma Pro 100 ink cartridges the first time with no problem. The second time around, my chip resetter appears to not be working. Is there a way to get the printer to print without a 2nd reset until my next resetter can be ordered? When I re-insert the cartridge, the light is flashing and it will not print. Precision Colors is on vacation and not shipping until later this month. Help please?

Jose I must say your Channel is outstanding! With your knowledge my prints have gotten better and better. I do have a two questions, do I have to replace all cartridges at the same time when going from OEM to refill or can they be replaced as they empty out? And how often do you flush the yellow? Is it ever time you refill? As I am looking into getting Richards already done cartridges. And purchasing the ink thru PC.. thanks buddy

Jose thank you for the refesh on how to. please tell me If i have NEW original Canon used cartridges with little bit of canon ink in them (not yellow) can i top them up with the precision inks (standard inks) with out flushing them? OR do i for the first time changing from Canon ink to Precision need to flush the first time? so i'm then going from Precision ink to precision ink from then on? cheers Donna
