We take a grinder to the outside of my 4 seat jetstream mini jetboat to grind a pattern into it. It goes good and bad. We also rebuild a lot of the systems on the boat and outfit with eva foam!

Taylor, some unsolicited advice, when it comes to you electrical bits and pieces, the pack outs, keep them out of direct sunlight, because any air in there will condensate and your electronics will get wet, I found this with my fishing equipment, and camera batteries, with the clear top, just turns it into an air condenser and soaks everything inside, I hope that helps.

Just for future reference, they make a hot knife for cutting foam, you would probably want to do it outside but there are some cheap ones on Amazon for like $80. I used to work in a body shop years back, for the big hull dents you could weld a tab to the low spot and either clamp onto it or drill a hole in it for a hook and go at it with your slide hammer. You would probably want to heat it like you were doing. Once you get the panel back in shape you just have to cut the tab off and tune it up with a flap disk. Love the channel man keep it up!

Maybe a roll cage. You could mount so many things to it and it would help protect those in the back. Maybe the add a shade. Also you could add some of the roll cage on the side of the boat to help protect front trees, like rock sliders for jeeps.

You’ve always been a Milwaukee guy, and I remember when they sent you tools way back when you were wrenching in your garage with your roommate who built that Ram Charger…. Can’t remember his name! All that to say, you could get your name written in Milwaukee-style font and put it on the side of the boat! Might make great merch too! Or get Garage Built Co printed in that font. Stoked to see the shop and all the growth you’ve experienced! I’ve been watching since the Miata was red and ate pancake syrup! lol

Larger circles on larger uneven surfaces. And use an interface pads before the sandpaper to get deeper into dents and make the look not dented. I did this a whole stainless jet boat. Took me two weeks. But dang. It was worth it. I did 7inch pad racing stripe even. The diff sizes have suck a cool effect.

The first thing I do with a new air tool is fill it with PTFE dry-lube and let it sit for 24 hours, the fibre viens and bearings last ten times longer, and you only need to oil all your air tools once a week. This is using them every day as a fibreglass contractor.
