Yea, I think Chargers and Challengers are the cheapest in Detroit, in comparison to other Cities across the Nation. @@angelgjr1999 My 06 which came with 340 hp or 350 (Daytona edition...as if that does anything, maybe exhaust modifications) can be sketchy as times. If you don't know how to control it and try to do dumb shit even on nice dry roads on a sunny day you can be tits up. Driving it in winter you better make sure you can react. Really helps improve your reaction time and how you react. Hitting a small bump on a snowy road and the rear end deciding to just slide is quite exiting at highway speeds.

Having driven two of these now I can say you will not get used to the fun you have in it. Never a dull moment in a 392 or hellcat.

Seems like it would be a bit boring to me. It’s not manual. It looks the same as every other regular Charger unless you really focus. It’s not a two door coupe and it doesn’t have a cool PoV hood view like say, the Viper. It has a ton of power but it’s legally unusable for the most part. At least when you’re risking your life/license in a Viper or foreign exotic you get a unique look sound... this just sounds like another American pushrod V8. It’s not bad, but when you factor in the high upfront cost and high fuel consumption, it doesn’t seem like it would be warranted to get more than the 5.7 Charger. Same look, sound, interior... They don’t turn my head when they roll by.

@@jared2880 I mean it’s just personal taste/opinion but I’ve driven the 5.7 and it’s a freakin dog compared to the 392. As far as sound is concerned it’s just a nasty big v8 that is the last of its kind, and with an exhaust setup it sounds so much meaner. It’s a very usable car if you get bigger tires on it which it desperately needs just like the hellcat. Great brakes, reliable engine and yes gas mileage is not great but who tf enjoys cars and thinks about gas mileage? Pretty counter intuitive, since most cars will get shit gas mileage when you drive them with any kind of passion.

@@jared2880 And as far as “exotics” a viper wouldn’t be in that category since it’s domestic and literally a dodge....but I get what you mean. Vipers are definitely more driver focused and Manual only. But they’re not sedans so kind of a different purpose. But my brother worked for a Ferrari dealer here in San Antonio TX, and has driven pretty much every exotic there is to drive. If all you want is image and a hole to throw your money into sure buy a Ferrari 488 or Lamborghini huracan, be my guest but those are cars for posers and are boring asf after about 5 minutes. Not to mention you look like an asshole 24/7 in them.

@@Blazerghost For cars the definition of "exotic" is not set in stone, but a car being domestic alone does not make it not "exotic". I consider the Alfa Romeo 4C to be exotic, but a power addict might discount it due to it only producing ~240 HP. To me the Viper's limited production, focus of purpose, design influence (help from Lamborghini w/engine), and it being one of the few American sports cars with 10 cylinders make it exotic to me. It's not "regular', or something you see often, or ever. On your last point about being a poser and having an image and a hole to throw money into, I consider most people with a Scat Pack Charger to be in line with that description- if it means not using the car for its "intended purpose". The purpose of the SP Charger is to do run after run on the drag strip up to 175 MPH... I bet 9/10 people don't take this to a drag strip or ever go past 130. These also take a pretty penny to buy and daily driving this would absolutely bleed you out of gas money.
