I genuinely love how it's not the classic cliché of (romantic) love and the girl that save the city and possibly the world from destruction and that their relationship (Mob and her) is just platonic (there are many things backing up how Mob did like her at least partially in a romantic way but mostly as friendship) and in the end it was Mob and Raigen relationship to be the main focus to resolve the issue at the end and only Raigen could get through him. I never get tired of this.

There's also the problem that Mob completely distanced from Tsubomi after childhood (and vice versa). Mob was constantly improving himself to reach the standard he believed would meet Tsubomi's expectations, but never really spent time with Tsubomi and so they basically knew nothing about one another save for past memories.

@@FolstrimHori I have a female friend who told me she wouldn't have dated her boyfriend if he had spent time with her as a friend, and not gone on his separate way years ago, and then met her again after that. The absence is more important than you might realize.

Reigen proved himself to be the greatest "psychic" of his time in this scene. A psychic's job is to unveil supernatural anomalies. ??? Is the greatest anomaly in MP universe. Not even Suzuki who had the power to rule the world was able to understand Mob. Not even Kogami after death. But Reigen saw both ??? and Mob as one and as a troubled kid was able to handle the situation that can potentially be the greatest disaster.

Atleast it was implied at the end that mob's feelings weren't actually romantic but mostly about the friendship he once cherished with her that mob wanted to get back, so in a way it's a good ending for him since they started talking again :)

Because that's not what he really wanted even if they make it look like that's what Mob wanted. Mob wanted any of the romance, I don't deny that part of his feelings about her were genuine, but it was also about the fact that she simply didn't treat him differently because of his powers and wasn't affected by how cool they were. So he believed he loved her because his powers didn't impress her but in reality their relationship is just a platonic relationship that would have never happened romantically.

I love the depiction of Mob's face, it somehow encapsulates both the original Mob and ??? in one. Both personalities are in shock at Reigen's honesty. Both versions have put each other through so much stress and you can see it visually through his shriveled and disdainful eyes. But regardless of it all, ??? cant deny that Reigen is the only one who accepted him as well as Mob. Reigen is the only one who wasnt afraid of Mob, but ??? despised Reigen for using him and his abilities. All ??? wanted was for Mob to be freed of his emotional turmoil and let everything that had bothered him internally to come to light. They originally thought that their biggest internal struggle was to confessing to his crush, when in reality, it was Reigen not being honest with his own faults. ??? was frustrated with how Mob was expected to be open, honest and admit weakness to Reigen when Reigen never did. It was unfair that Reigen got to pretend to be high and mighty while ??? who actually was, had to be locked away. But now that was over. This was the true story of Mob Psycho. Honesty and acceptance of our own faults, so that those around us can truly feel loved, supported and trusted.

When Reigen (possessed by Dimple) caught Mob's punch, i was internally screaming: YESSSS THE GREATEST PSYCHIC OF THE 21ST CENTURY IS BACK THE ONLY GUY WHO CAN STOP MOB: REIGEN!!!!!!!! Then it showed that Dimple possessed him.
