YES MA’AM, everything you said was correct and beneficial for relaxed hair. I personally use ALL of these tips after I educated myself on my relaxed hair a few years ago and my hair is almost mid-back length now 😊.

These are REAL TIPS!!! Tired of hearing “moisturize and seal”. Like girl I don’t need you to tell me that if that was the issue everyone would have hair down to their ass! Lol New subbie! I’m on my relaxed hair journey and I wish I saw this video back then. I made all these mistakes and ended up having to start over. My biggest tip is if you have resistant or 4C hair, don’t be afraid to leave it on long enough and comb through GENTLY!!! This was my biggest mistake. I’d just throw it on and leave it on for like 15 min like the box says and my hair would end up never being processed enough, this led to breakage and over processing later on. Also stay away from No Lye!

I relaxed my hair 1week ago,I was natural for 10yrs, my 4c hair..Lord, I tried everything, to be gentle, moisturize like a fein, but my hair still felt like a brillo, it tangled in itself, and never grew past chin length; Im hoping to baby my relaxed hair, and hopefully get good results;Tnks for the tips; Your hair is BEAUTIFUL!

Your welcome♥️ Good luck on your relaxed hair journey. My relaxed hair can get really dry and what helps me the most other than moisturizing is tie it up every single night. If I miss one night my hair is dry the next day.

Your hair is beautiful. ORS, is my only relaxer. I havent flat ironed my hair in about six months, and Im waist length. Yaaaas, to greasing the scalp. Im old school, and never stopped greasing my scalp. Keep the videos coming.

Yes this! I don't know why I stopped "greasin" my scalp. Hair was thick, lengthy, and manageable but somewhere along the lines hairdressers started telling us not to grease our scalps. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm greasin my damn scalp again!

A good tip for protecting already relaxed hair during the relaxer process is to apply porosity control to the ends before you relax. It protects the previously relaxed hair and it keeps the pH in balance.

Sulphur 8 is great. Anything with sulfur is great for relaxed hair.

I got a tip. Make sure you/ your beautician is washing the relaxer out completely. I trusted this lady to relax my hair and she didn’t wash it all out. Some was left in my head which caused it to shed badly. I end up having to cut it and I just went natural cause I realized what she done to my hair. Love your hair

Me too! I subscribed very quickly because seeing her har was proof enough that she knows (something) about hair. I love the part when she said stretch your relaxer! That's where the growth is at for me and what I'm doing. I had breast cancer and was bald from chemo treatments. I'm a survivor of 3 years and my hair is back where it use to be just not as long (yet). I prayed and asked God to give me hair like yours and I'm receiving my Blessing from believing and my faith. I started my hair journey July 17 of this year and it’s already growing , I mean obviously not too much lol but you can definitely tell a difference from the 17th up until now (29th) my mom and bf have said that it’s grown since that day and I was proud of my 4c hair I really loved the texture but I couldn’t do it anymore 😭✋🏾 i have to be very gentle when combing it, it gets super dry even while oiling it and moisturizing, it gets matted very easily and breaks off easily. I would lean up against a wall and there would be little hair curls on the wall like GOSH !😭

Hey When my hair I straight I use a shine spray by pink luster. I show it in a few videos. But I’m wear a twist out or something I use leave in conditioners and oil on my ends. But even when my hair is straight I still put a small amount of oil on my ends.
