I realize this is an old video, but I wanted to share how much it helped me today. I've been doing at least one of your videos every day for three weeks. I have chronic illnesses and it makes daily life pinful. The instinct when confronted with bone deep pain and weariness is to fold in upon yourself and rest. I've been doing that for a long time without realizing how badly it was harming me. Mentally and physically. I found you through the neck nerve flossing video you did (which I do every day and helps SO MUCH). I really appreciate the range of styles you've done, your pacing and all the tips you give. You give enough information that I can correct my form without looking up trying to figure out what you're doing. You also give me plenty of time to acknowledge the pain I always have and relax into new positions realizing it doesn't actually hurt any more than just sitting on the couch does. My range of motion has improved significantly! I am in complete disbelief over it. I am proud to say holding a plank is now doable for short periods of time. I woke up very tired today and in a fog (also from illnesses) and it's actually raining in Florida where I live. This particular video was top of my feed and so I turned the lights out and followed along. I feel so much better. It's incredible how that works. I have tried other instructors but have more stress than not following other people. I can't tell you how much your videos have helped. I hope you're having a lovely adventure wherever you are. Thanks so much for this, Echo. This was beautiful. That last "self-embrace" pose is especially calming and soothing. I found myself feeling very relaxed and I actually extended that pose to 10 mins! I'm going to do it more often. :)
