Was able to get the secret gun before the boss, so I don’t think it require to kill the boss first. Also be sure to talk to the Npc near by after playing the secret song as he gives a crafting item for a mod I think.

Once you finish this you can go talk to the Flautist to get Scroll of Binding (crafting material)

After getting the gun, you can go and talk to the flute and he gives you a scroll as well

Not sure how much I have to progress but seems like every door leads everywhere apart from the door where the bloody 2nd leaver is! 😭

Right?? I've cleared all the way through Endaire's End and I still can't seem to find my way to that door. Every walkthrough I see, it's already open like it's simple 😭

you need to progress through the entire map including other rooms, eventual one leads back to this area

maybe try to travel around with the stone and see if you can find that pan flautist on your map, thats where that water harp should be

Make sure you have turned the water wheel on, none of the guides cover that bit. You have to go around the zone to get to the room ABOVE the room with the book. There you need to flip a lever that turns on the water wheel

No music will play at all until you progress a bit further through the stage. You'll eventually come through a door that brings you around the back side of the room that has the checkpoint with a locked door. You need to go above the checkpoint area to turn on the music then use the wheel with pegs to actually play the music.

Yep didn't work pretty sure you have to activate a second leaver...

Make sure you are progressing far enough that the next objective is the boss room across the gap.
