Sorry could you make this again, it was all washed out colour wise i think you needed to have pink gloves on, also the lack of number plates on the wall was very distracting.

I tried it out for some zinc plating on some nuts I needed to weld, and threw in a few other things to see how well it works. Mill scale? Just wipe it off with a rag. Light rust? Gone. Plate with severe pitting and layers of rust? Took about a week and a bit of brushing and chipping, but it's down to bare steel. It's not as fast as phosphoric acid, but it's cheap enough to just fill a tub and toss pieces of pipe and tubing in and let it go. Way better than using abrasives and the steel almost comes out weld ready.

It was me that asked about it in the livestream the other day as me nuts needed welding. Definitely works as I didn't have a bunch of spitting, pissing and moaning when I welded them. Cheers for that one Matt.

You should have asked. I could have sent you some Lincolnshire water. It’s loaded with calcium and it’s as hard as fucking nails.

Should've added some oil before shaking so it's super slippy and the acid can dissolve the kool kromium koating faster

Why would one do this? I’m guessing to drape over ones fairing and stick down with no nails to then later paint olive green with a dirty swarf ridden dustpan brush?
