I love Fredagain and was so excited to hear he was doing a Fredagain mash up. Ren paid homage to Fred but told his story too. It’s been on repeat for me since the drop with lots of excitement, goosebumps and tears along the way. Ren is so good at drawing you in…..he makes you feel. Thanks guys….great reaction💜🔥

What you were saying about how Ren's message is both personal to him and universal for us to relate to on a personal level is so true. An incredible performance - the last part just gets me every time. The lighting was superb, Josh's camerawork was great (there is a BTS video which shows the depth of Ren's involvement as Director) and the Calgary skyline is spectacular. Mind blown

Fine reaction. Ren is so open that you feel like he is performing for you alone. The camera work by the videographer is spot on and contributes greatly to the success of the presentation ( kudos!). Your own new camera angle works just fine too. Keep up the good work.

Notice right at the end how he has to put his hand on his leg to stop it shaking :) I noticed that dunno if nerves or just a bit hyper but have noticed he seems to keep time like an internal metronome with his legs or his head when playing live. Weird hearing these EDM tracks played this way....absolutely no clue how Ren pulled such a deeply emotional melancholy tune from the originals. Just goes to show he thinks so differently to the rest of us plebs :🤣

I'm not sure if Ren's middle name is spelt Erin or Eryn (I have seen the web saying both). Erin means Ireland. Eryn may be a derivative also meaning Ireland, or may mean peace. Whilst Ren is Welsh, the island of Anglesey looks out towards Ireland.

This song is an amalgamation of around 4 or 5 different songs from one of Ren's favourite artists called Fred Again. He is an EDM DJ and when Ren went to one of his concerts recently, he suddenly just broke down in the middle of the dancefloor bc he just resonated with the lyrics so much. That was the 'I am Lost' song at the end. If you want to see how truly brilliant Ren is watch this link to the original songs.
