Great car, I think that was one of Patrick le Quément first project at Renault. Very innovative indeed, I think it was even planned to be released as an Alpine product.

That is interesting info. Thanks for sharing that! Could/would have been a great Alpine too indeed. I know the design team tried numerous times to relaunch the brand.

Didn't know that Patrick le Quement was behind the Spider. I remember him better for weird looking cars like the second gen Megane.
