I think you should have covered the two o-rings replacement under the spout to stop all possible leaks in addition to all the other great details fore mentioned. Unless of course, your topic was specific to a ball replacement. Thanks for the vinegar info. Great vid!

Mine leaks from up top and Not from the spout! Will this Fix be the Fix I need? I'm a senior lady hoping to do the repairs myself bcuz up here in Rutland, in Kelowna BC Canada, I was quoted 500 + purchase the parts and/or new faucet myself.. I think that's a slight but steep and possibly trying to take advantage of an older gal! Thanks for your video tutorial! It was straight to the point...

my sink isnt leaking but stuck on hot like it will start cold but go hot really fast and when i turn it to the cold side the water stops flowing , can i just open it and fix where the ball is placed or does that mean a part is broken ?

So there's no washer I can simply replace? I have to get a new ball and spring thing?

Unless the ball is damaged, you should be able to just replace just the small rubber seats, they're sold separately with extra springs. Make sure to use white vinegar to clean the inside of the valve body of any mineral deposits like the video shows at 1:15. If you're keeping the original ball, wipe it down with vinegar as well if it shows any deposits.

Hi, I have managed to get the cap off and unskrew with an allen key but the handle is still not coming off, iv given it a few bangs with my skrewdriver but is still not coming off. Any tips would be so mutely appreciated! Thanks!

I sprayed some wd 40/liquid wrench and let it sit a bit. Then it came off with a bit of wiggling.
