This video cuts to the chase and was very helpful and informative. I would add that in addition to replacing these old parts and while the dryer is moved out, clean out your dryer vent ducts too. When I looked down my duct it didn’t look bad, but when I took it apart, it was packed full of lint. I’m not even sure how the unit was drying before!

Single broke gal here lol same dryer, same issue, no meter. Bought the same kit and followed these instructions. TY! I watched tons of over complicated videos of folks that liked to hear themselves talk. Much appreciated. Only thing...i wish I had not eagarly took off the old pieces and paid more attention the the wiring

Hi great video. I just got the kit and just finished installing everything but I'm having a problem with the small red wire that goes into the heating element. It's very loose and not snug like the original. Did you have that problem as well? If so how did you fix it?

Same dryer - the wires do not just easily pop off, i cant even get them off, any tips?

Use needle nose pliers. Literally just replaced my parts for my dryer and it's running smoothly now.

After hooking up my wires, I blew my breaker..who's chan es I'll need to replace my element fuse, send on the heating element foes the brass tail of the one gage need to touch the other coil temp gsge.

My husband ordered and replaced all of the parts, but nothing changed. It still only heats for maybe 10 minutes then goes to cold. Still works, but same issue. We also vacuum out vents etc. Any other suggestion? Oh, we also checked air from ourside vent and it is flowing well.

It sounds like it's the thermostat but also verify you're getting the correct power at the coils.

Depending on what your machine is doing, clean it out and change the thermal fuse at least

That would depend on the element and the thermostat.
