With the wrap glue, Try some “Stoner” mould cleaner, as used in the Fibreglass/Composites industry to clean and remove build up from the moulds. As all, forever live the channel but seriously, the diffuser on that fiesta? 🫣🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂😂🤘🏻

For the sticky A3, contact Avanti Tapes Ltd in Smethwick and ask for a can or 2 of Tensorgrip C101 adhesive remover. It's what we use for adhesive residue removal on 316 marine components that have been polycoated. I may work, or may not but its worth a shot!

Q&A Hey Ricky! Love the channel! Could you explain why some bolts on engine builds have a torque and angle rather than just a torque. I get that some are yield bolts like, mains, rods, head and cam bolts etc because of load, torque and vibration, but why would a sump pan or windage tray need a 15Nm torque with 90 degree afterwards?? For that wrap glue removal - try Benzine? Just wear gloves and a respirator as the stuffs nssty for your liver but it works!

I love R8s when they are twin turbo because they keep their rear bars and look stock so you would never know where as most Lambo I see are missing their rear end and it makes them look ugly

Wrap glue, have you tried with vegetable oil, apply and cover with clingfilm wait an hour, if only partial result wait another hour. Davla have you heard of a smart device called a Steadicam. Love the videos. All the best.

To get the glue off the A3, use Synthetic thinner from a paint supply shop, used it for years, does not damage paint, but it's messy as F

Q&A Hi Ricky, I have a Kawasaki GPZ500 1993, the generator is of the generation that likes to drop the magnets and take out the generator. Currently the bike only has 14K miles on it at the minute. Would you think that when I get around to replacing the generator that I bite the bullet and just take the engine out and give it a good clean inside as it has sat for the best part of 15 years. I have reasonable mechanical knowledge so isn't something that I'm afraid of getting my hand dirty doing. Would you do the clutch at the same time as well just to be on the safe side. Thanks Rob Keep up the good work, enjoy watching through the videos and seeing the level of work that you guys do.

@ 5:00 try using a heat gun and a micro fibre cloth on its own,no chemicals. i had the same problem with a mustang i had to de-wrap for paintwork. weirdly the chemicals made it worse.

Ricky. In your opinion how should a bike be warmed up from cold. Having worked in the BSB paddock for many a year, I’ve been told various ways, and witnessed various ways. We always warmed the sump, turned it over with no fuel pump for a few seconds, then let it tick over naturally until around 50 degrees oil temp, before small ‘blipping’ of the throttle until oil up to working temp. What’s your thoughts on how to do it properly with mechanical sympathy in mind ? Cheers. Keep the content coming

I do everything you describe except the blipping! I get the coolant to 90, switch off and do it about 20 mins later again to get the oil to absorb the heat. I always use a heater on the sump though. Must be over 30 deg before I crank.

Has Jordan tried Goo-Gone? That yellow shit is amazing at getting off glue residue, even ancient UV'd to fuck stickers, and it doesn't even touch silk-screen ink, so it'll definitely be fine on automotive acrylic.
