My 940 b230fk has had a developing problem of the car just shutting down when idle or when pressing clutch when coming to a stop. No resistance or anything, just dies completely and then often times starts up but sometimes it does not start up at all, it will only start again after you hear the fuel bump buzzing. I have replaced fuel filter and checked for leaks, both good. Gonna replace relay next, hopefully it fixes it.

You can resolder the broken contacts on the old relay and then you will have a spare

Looking forward to FAN diagnosing! i have a -98 since august -23 and the fan has never started, i looked att the relays in front of the battery and they looked very good and started the fan there and it worked. I have read something that it takes signal from the AC and my system is out of gas so maybe thats a reason. Erik in Sweden

Yes the later model 940's Fan runs in sync with the Ac system. If it's out of R134A it will not kick on. It could also me the climate control board itself.

Just fixed mine. And there is a video about it. System was leaking pressure.🙄
