Harbour rescues usually take place in the late afternoon once fish factory activities have slowed down and seals are getting ready for a good night’s rest. Harbour seals are strong and heavy, and this particular seal bull proved to be a test, mainly because rescuer Tony was on his own. The seal was not compliant, and you can hear what goes through the rescuer's mind. We always have to think on our feet to make the best possible decisions for our and the seal's safety.
